So DH was able to fix the starter himself (well, it's in process, not quite done). That saves big bucks in labor cost. But, really, could we please be done now for a good long while????!!!!! I've got to find something fun and inexpensive for us to do after Christmas, just the two of us. That poor man hasn't done anything but work on something in I don't know how long. Come to think of it, there's an Irish pub we've been wanting to go to; maybe that and a movie. That's a nice evening out.

Y'know, if it weren't for the spider issue, I'd seriously consider a move there when the kids are all grown up.....!! (DH and I once worked with a gal from Oz....she said knocking your shoes out every morning was par for the course..... Huntsman. ).

I think she might have been from Queensland. They breed them differently up there and she might have been pulling your leg some.

I might see the odd huntsman in summer when it is super hot. I've never knocked my shoes out.

Funny, that pic is just about life-sized. I saw a YouTube video once of a guy driving his car and there was one of those crawling around his sun visor. I'd have crashed within 2 seconds of the sighting......
