YIKES! It's gonna be in the 60's again today....tomorrow it's gonna drop though....

It was in the 60's when I got up this morning. I even turned on my seat warmers. But it will be in the 80's by noon. And this weather is just one of the many reasons I live in Florida. I can handle the heat, the cold gets me to the bone.

....for a minute, I though you were referring to your age....popcorn::

So, my daughter, the 13 yo, broke her front tooth in 2010. The dentist repaired it, but warned us that it may not hold. That one day, maybe the next day, maybe three years down the line, she could need a root canal.

That day down the line was yesterday. I took her to the dentist, who is sending her to an endontist, to look at the tooth and determine whether he's going to do a full root canal or some new procedure specifically for younger teeth. Either way, Sweetie's been in a great deal of pain and yesterday, the dentist put her on penicillin and pain meds. I stayed home with her.

This morning, she wakes up with a swollen face and rash on her back. Allergic reaction. She's now sleeping peacefully with a new antibiotic and benadryl for the allergic reaction. Problem is, the new meds she is taking is one I am allergic to. My hands are about raw from washing and scrubbing every time I handle one of the pills.

That stinks all around! I hope she recovers soon. Maybe try some gloves for her medicine?

Hey nanners! Too busy with life to pop in here much these days.....working late most days (8 hrs. instead of my usual 6), then trying to keep up with the household on top of that.

Hope everyone is doing well! PaMom, glad you got a good laugh from the pic although I am sorry you were in class at the time....

I have no other news, just glad it's finally FRIDAY!!

It's Friday night here. Really glad that my paid work week has finished so that I can start my UNpaid work weekend.

So much to do.....so little time......

Anyone else want to shift Christmad?

....oh, sooooo, you're combining holidays with emotions now, are ya.....popcorn::

Yup. It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad silly season.

On top of everything else......my DH's SiL sent us an email last night (which DH picked up this morning) inviting us to her birthday party tonight....it's for a 50th!!! What sort of notice do you call that?

(I call it the ignorami kind; where you hafta invite the invitee but don't want them to come!)

I will when I get my butt in gear and get a tree. We have done lights outside, but the inside is still decoration free (other than a very inactive Elf on the Shelf.)

....wow, went 'all out', huh...
