Same here. We are almost out and I can't buy any. I'm glad the electric blanket is still on my bed. At least I can heat the bed up before getting in it. In fact, I can't wait to go to bed. It won't be nice here until Monday.

It will, but April up here in the northeast U.S. has a personality disorder.....can't decide if it's going to warm up or stay cold, so it doles out some of each in small, confused doses.

Another cold wet day. I hope tomorrow is still supposed to be nice, but I'm almost afraid to look. Nothing planned for the day except a few things around the house and being lazy. Oh and dreaming of a Disney vacation....

Same here. We are almost out and I can't buy any. I'm glad the electric blanket is still on my bed. At least I can heat the bed up before getting in it. In fact, I can't wait to go to bed. It won't be nice here until Monday.

I don't know why I never thought of an electric blanket for our bed this winter..... Our room was an add-on to the house, and has three outside walls; it just does not warm up in there. Well, next year for sure!

::sigh::......Someday. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed my day-trips when I can get one, while visiting my dad. But I really miss the whole planning and anticipation of a full-on vacation there.

So our weather seems to be on its Prozac this week. Doesn't look too bad, although there's a chance of a shower every day. We did lots of work on our yard this weekend (mainly raking up driveway that was plowed onto the lawn this winter). It's slowly starting to green up around here. I don't want to have the crappiest yard on the street! I think people in general tend to have the mindset that the renters don't care and are going to trash the property. To the contrary, I plan to put flowers in ALL over the place and will have the showcase house on the street!

I was also looking at road races around the state for this season. I'm doing a 5k in early May, found a 5k trail race for late June that I want to do, and have my sights set on my first half-marathon in October!! That's a lofty goal but I really want to do one and there is just no way I'm going to do one of the Disney ones anytime soon. Never mind that the pre-registration for this one is $40, compared to like $130 for a WDW Half!!!! Crazy.

Anyway, I'm off to work! Have good one y'all!

The heat is on 57 at night, but my bedroom is colder b/c the heat vent in the bedroom is closed. That makes the electric blanket quite important. You will love it.

I can see how one quick day in Disney can be a tease and make you want more.

We couldn't do yard work this weekend b/c of rain. As soon as we got Dega and Heidi in the woods yesterday, it started raining. Yay 255 lbs of wet smelly dog. It was 28 this morning which left a thin layer of ice on the dog water. The sun is out and it's warming up though. It rained/showered every day last week so the sun is a very welcome sight.

I'm not working this week b/c it's school vacation week and the parents both took the week off. Nice for them; bad for me. Happy running.
