Dancing around the world~One pole at a time~~~Return of the prodigal trip reporter...

Yep. The one and only.;)

Rosie gave it to me. I figured since I would be known as an enabler, I would claim the title for myself. HEY!!! Maybe Rosie's the tag fairy. Maybe she's just running low key for a while....:rolleyes1

There was extra cost, but we didn't have to pay to fix the stairs. We did pay some though. We also paid for the labor for the kitchen because it was an added project to the original agreement.

Once upon a time in the magical land of Poofs, where all had originally smelled of roses and lilacs, lived a lovely young woman. She was tending her gardens and minding her own business when along came an elderly woman with a fairly large bag over her shoulder and a smaller bag around her waist.

The elderly woman required much of the lovely young woman. One day the lovely young woman decided she had enough. The elderly woman would have nothing of this attitude. She reached into her pack attached to her fanny, but couldn't find what she was needing.

She emitted all sorts of foul stench from her mouth that the roses turned from red to black, the lilacs lied down, and the lovely smells turned to the foulest stench.

Feeling sorry for her utterance, she tried to fix it by getting a fan from her bag on her shoulder. Unfortunately, the bag turned into a Magical Bag of Crap. No matter what she did, the elderly woman could not pull out anything useful. Just a bunch of crap.

OMGosh that was one of the darkest fairytales ever!:rotfl2::lmao::worship:

Good luck with the Baking of the Cake, well really finding everything...you could cheat and go buy one at the store...that way you would have more thime for the Dis:rotfl: Just kidding kind of:rolleyes1

Awww poor Ethan! I hope he was ok while you were away.

And that guy who was snorting on the plane needs his adenoids removed ASAP :rotfl:

I was planning to update, but I just found out that Ethan needs to make and decorate a cake for his cub scout blue and gold banquet tonight.

Um.....I don't know where any of my pans are or my mixer or....anything! Looks like my day will be gobbled up by cakes and messes. oh, how I love scouts.

hopefully, I'll be back later with responses and an update.

UGH!

I scored this year. Originally we were slated for pizza and then somehow got assigned fruit?

And darn it, I had gourmet club on Monday night and it was my turn to make dessert for that so Jeff had to handle the banquet.

I gave him some bananas.

Told him to cut them in thirds

I feel sooooo guilty.

NOT!

Love your new kitchen! You have excellent tastes.

Too bad about "BO/snoring/farting man" - I wonder what movie he was watching...

I would normally be thinking you need chapter links for this TR, but your friends on here are cracking me up too! Thanks for brightening my day & I can't wait to hear more.

Note to self- Do not drink coffee while reading TR's esp..if they are Winkers, Englishrose or Jorden's, you guys and your band of Merry Diser have made me laugh more in the last couple of weeks then I have laughed in a long time... Thank you

We seem to have that affect on many and yet we are really soo boring straitlaced , shy etc etc :lmao::lmao::lmao:
As for drinking coffee while readin the Dis it is NOT a good idea !! Also you need to alert the Local Paddy Wagon not to respond to calls from your family that YOU HAVE LOST IT!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

that guy does not sound like fun to sit next too.

Thanks for links.

I know you'll be really happy with it. I was wondering what company you all went with for windows? I've been thinking about doing our windows and wonder if I'm willing to give up going to WDW after our next vaca there to do it. Hmmm, let's see....do I want a house with lower electric bills or WDW again in a couple of years??? Hmmmm.....
ummmm....I'm not sure. We got them from a local store...maybe d.jay can answer?:rotfl2:
I think I'd choose a vacay over windows, maybe my priorities are mixed up?

The kitchen looks great! Thank goodness you were able to fix the changes your MIL had instituted. :scared1:

BO on a stuffy plane. That's when you need something like they used to use back in the "olden" days. You know - the hankerchief with perfume on it to hold to your nose to cover up the smell of unwashed bodies?

And right now I'm just thinking, "You're free!! You're free!!!"
poor d.jay could have used a gas mask or maybe smelling salts.

Hey Am I the elderley lady!!!:
I think he was referring to MIL

:goodvibes
After about the thousandth time you choke, inhale, or spew your drink all over your computer, you'll learn.:thumbsup2 I've actually had dr.pepper come out my nose after laughing at someone's comment.

Yes - Jordan's cousin Wendy has given us that warning on his trip report a few times. Maybe they should all put the rules in their introductory posts :lmao:

I'm in but 12 pages behind....:rotfl:
I'm glad you made it! I go really slow, so you can catch up easily.

Good luck with the Baking of the Cake, well really finding everything...you could cheat and go buy one at the store...that way you would have more thime for the Dis:rotfl: Just kidding kind of:rolleyes1
I bought some pound cake from the bakery....

Awww poor Ethan! I hope he was ok while you were away.

He did really well! there were even a few nights he didn't call to say good night!

UGH!

Welcome!
I see you're in Draper....my sister used to live there but now she's in American Fork.
The comments and dialogue between updates is the best part!

:thumbsup2 Kitchen looks great! Sorry you had to deal with Mr BO/Sir Fartsalot/ Master Snoreman.
thanks and it wasn't bad for me, just amusing....I didn't smell or see a thing.:thumbsup2

Gotta love those last minute cake orders! What a way to christen your kitchen.
At least once a week I get the frantic "MOM!! I forgot and I have to have it right now".....I wonder where they learned procrastinating from?

Also you need to alert the Local Paddy Wagon not to respond to calls from your family that YOU HAVE LOST IT!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:
:rotfl2::rotfl2:

He had a lot of fun making it and I came out with fingers dyed blue.

Hey Cherie! We need names for ladies parts on my thread- add your wisdom

Making a cake will only help you determine how well the batter wipes off the new tile. ;) Think of it as a rite of passage for your kitchen!

Cake looks fabulous!

Would have died laughing if he had tried the toilet version, though. I guess that's not so Scout appropriate, though.

The cake is adorable!

And the in-process back splash is gorgeous!

I have a love/hate relationship with scouting.

It is a wonderful thing for Eric. I love that. As a former scout, I get it and it's a wonderful wonderful thing

I hate that I can't dump it 100% on Jeff to deal with.

Not even 50%

:rotfl:

Our first day at disney started around 8 when we got up. For us, that is unusual.
Normally, we are up at the butt crack of dawn and at the begining of the crowd for rope drop. We are on the go from sun up to sun down, or whenever we just can't move any more.
I am a disney touring comando. If I thought my family would allow it or pay attention, I would be waving a little red triangle flag in the air as my group followed.
I've always wanted to have one of those little flags, I think they have some secret controling powers....I.must.have.one.

But my dream of vacation touring domination would have to wait for another year, because we had decided that this would be a relaxing vacation. To me vacation and relax are two words that don't go together. I was worried that I may need a prescription sedative to over come my inability to let one moment go unfilled.

I told d.jay the night before that we'd just sleep in and go to the park when ever we got up. I was determined to relax even if it killed me.;)

We arrived at DHS around 10 without a game plan...again, this is so strange for me. We grabbed fp's for TOT went for a ride on RNR after only a 14 minute stand by wait and headed for my favorite show in disneyworld, Beauty and the Beast.

While we waited for the show to start...I really miss the pre-show act!, I did a little people watching.
One of my observations from our trips to disney is that you can pick out a few nationalities just by the clothes they are wearing. One south american country I've noticed has some interesting styles...they are similar to the typical american wardrobe, but just different enough to stand out.

As I was sitting there I spied a tour group heading my way and quickly saw an interesting sight. There was one guy wearing skin tight "seersucker" shorts that were white and light blue stripped and see through!:scared1:

I was too stunned to get my camera out in time but it was bad. Those shorts left NOTHING to the imagination. Of course I tried to get D.Jay to look but he was too late. It must have been d.jay's lucky day because we saw them after the show....again I didn't get my camera out. I know, you must all be so disapointed.

We did a little strolling through the shops....

On our way to Star tours I decided to do a little singin' in the rain...

ummmm lady parts?

I did think about the toilet cake....I knew the boys would love it, but the parents probably not so much.
