Dance Moms - any good dance supply stores?

My 11yo DD has done dance for several years. She needs some new dance clothes and is also into adult sizes. The prices at the dance stores are just so much I'm wondering if anyone knows of some places online or in the Dallas area to buy nice discounted dancewear? She's looking for Jazz pants and could also use a few other items.

My dds both have taken dance for years and these are the ones we use. Danny's has everything for 10 bucks. You just have to get lucky and find what you need.

I like discountdance. They have a great selection, and the prices are fairly good. There are a few more that I've checked into, but never ordered from. I'll see if I can get the names for you.

Side note...I absolutely hate the price of dance clothes and shoes. My girls go through 2 pairs of Geo-flex jazz shoes a year because they wear out and get holes in them. They go for about $50.00 a pair here! We just had to order "spectator" tap shoes and the discount price was $57.00! I need to get 2 pairs of those for my 2 older girls. Then there is the cost of costumes....my kids are lucky that I am such a nice Mom!

Thank you for this thread! My daughter can go through convertable tights like nothing I have ever seen and the local store charges an arm and a leg. I think I need to buy them by the gross!

I'm going to try one of these. I'd love to start only going to the dance store for her pointe shoes. Can't really buy them online because she grows and needs to be fitted. Thank you all a million times over.

I can't save on shoes, her school is very particular and I have to have a certain brand and style of the shoes. We spend about $200 a year on shoes and that's if I buy them big and get her to suffer with them too small for a little while. Thankfully we aren't doing pointe yet, I know that is even more.

She also informed me that her jazz teacher says their knees have to show in their jazz pants. We might have to find some here so she can try them on, she's pretty slim so finding some that fit her knees might be hard. If I can find some that fit I could get additional pairs later.

They are lucky to have such nice moms
