Okay, here's the situation we are in. At present, I have 4 rooms reserved for the 7/8/06 Eastern sailing of the Magic. There will be a total of 7 adults, 3 kids, and 1 infant and the details are as follows:
* 6530, 6528 (Cat 6 Connecting)
* 6526, 6524 (Cat 8 Connecting)
The DCL quoted price for all of these was $18,723.43 for the configuration we have.
DANA at CruisePlanners (1-800-385-8233 or www.micdan.com) quoted all of these in to me *SUBSTANTIALLY* less.

Now, if that wasn't good enough, here's where it gets REALLY good. I told her that reservation #4 which is DW and myself I dont want her taking over yet because I will be rebooking it on board, getting the 10% off and $200 stateroom credit. Then we're going to transfer the $500 we've laid down as a deposit on board so we're not out of pocket any more at that point anyway. She told me that she wasn't sure if this was possible however I assured her with DCL said it was okay. So, she said "Fine, go for it!" and then started to tell me about calling her back after I was home from the cruise and she'd take it over and give me her discounts ON TOP OF the DCL quoted price - the 10% ! So, needless to say I'm thrilled at this point.
Here's the real kicker, though, she's like "Just so you know I'm going to be gone next month because I'm sailing too" and as soon as she said that I knew we were on the same cruise -- WHICH WE ARE.
So, she said she'd come over with me to the rebooking desk and make sure it was done all properly.
This woman already has gone above and beyond the call of duty here. She's extremely pleasant to talk to, and the service is totally personal. Her 800 # gives you her directly, and it is truly a joy to talk to her (and God knows shes one of those people that LOVES to talk! ).
I HIGHLY recommend calling her after you talk to DCL to secure your ressies.. She is awesome!
