DAKV Booking...

My wife just came home and said a DVC member (SSR Home) who she knows at work, said they just booked DAKV.

Last I heard no one could book before mid-May. I suggested that they might have used points for a AKL booking, but she said they insisting that they booked a DAKV stay.

Anyone else know if the date changed? Or is someone just confused? I'd call MS and ask, but they where closed by the time I heard this.

Likely either they bought or they made ressies at the lodge through the DC.

I am not 100% sure on this but i think members that bought AKV and took the DVD points instead of the $8 discount get those points right away and need to use those points before sept, something of this year. I know there was conflicting answers on DVD points as to when the points had to be used by. I took the $8 discount so that is why i am not 100% sure.

I think the booking may have been through CRO and not through DVC. I have no doubt the units are ready, but they wont be open to DVC ressies until after September 1.

I just called DVC MS, and they said, "They don't have the first booking date for DAKV yet."

So at least as far as the person I talked to at MS, they couldn't have booked a DVC stay yet at DAKV. Maybe a CRO stay points -> cash.
