Oh, and I wanted to add...I also don't "look" like what the scale says. I'm 5'4" and weigh just over 200 lbs. (Ugh! Horrible!) However, I've been told that I don't look like I weigh more than 170ish. Guess I have to stop hiding it so well and actually get rid of it! LOL! ;)

I know what you mean. Only a few people know how much I weigh (besides everyone who reads my WISH journal) and they don't believe me. I have skinny legs, arms and face...I just have a large upper body and I still look pregnant. I am done hiding it! I want to lose it! :rotfl:

We are eating out again!! Weekends are so hard for me! So far today:

No breakfast

Lunch: Applebee's !/2 order Sante Fe Chicken Salad

Dinner: On the Border (yes, again) Margarita Chicken (checked menu online before going out-surprising that it is low-fat and good for me!!)


I excercised for 60 minutes. I went for a walk before it got too hot.
When I checked the menu online, I was surprised to see that my salad that I had last night had 63 grams of fat!! WOW :earseek: ...I didn't have salad dressing, so that might be w/dressing. I am never going to have that again!

Well, I will check back soon!
 

Good morning everyone! I am glad that today I am not going to eat ANY food out! I am getting tired of eating out. I may be able to find things low in fat and calories, but it is all really expensive! The WW menu at Applebee's is ridiculous! They charge so much for that stuff! Anyways, I will stop complaining now. :teeth:

Weekends are the hardest part of the week for me. I usually eat like food is going out of style! I just kept reminding myself that it is not worth it. I know that I can continue on to next week doing as well as I have been doing.

I don't feel very good today. :sick: I think I have a sinus infection. I may have to skip church and go to the doctor and have him take a look. My ears and eyes hurt so bad. I am wearing sunglasses right now because the light from the computer is hurting them. I don't know if I am going to eat breakfast b/c I am feeling really nauseated. I hope that you all enjoy the last day of your weekend! C-ya!
 
You are making EXCELLENT food choices at restaurants!! I don't have that much willpower. You are doing a really great job! Keep it up and you'll be at your goal before you know it! :flower:

You're making great progress! Eating out is tough; same thing happened to me this weekend because we tried a new Asian place and I ate way too many calories. Next time I'll choose something where I can moderate my portions better.

I have to say that I know that one of the reasons I am sticking to the program so well is b/c one of my really good friends recently had laprascopic (spelling??) surgery. It is basically like a gastric bypass. She wasn't really that big, but big enough that her insurance approved the surgery. She had her surgery on April 5 and has lost over 80 pounds already. She is only 30 pounds away from her goal. She is so small! She is literally shrinking before my eyes!! :earseek: We hang out with her and her husband A LOT because we are friends and her husband and mine are business partners. I watch what she eats and how much. I pretty much copy her eating habits when we are together.

Here's what I have eaten so far:

Breakfast: Slim Fast Optima Iced Lemon bar & 1 cup of watermelon

Snack: Honey Bunches of Oats granola bar


We are going to stay at Pop Century when we go to WDW in November. Does anyone know if they have yogurt, fruit, & cereal at the food court there? I am planning my AR's and want to eat a healthy breakfast b/c lunch and dinner are going to be at some yummy places. I want at least one small, healthy meal a day. TIA!! Talk to you girlies soon!! :banana:

Ah, yes they have all that good stuff at POP! I was there in March/April for spring break! :) Plenty of fresh fruits and veggies. I enjoyed the fact that the veggies were cut up for you. I think they even came with some dip. Yum, yum! :)

Remember to be careful with what you are eating versus what your friend is eating. There are some things that she may not be able to eat that your body does need which she is getting in the form of vitamins and pills. It is easier to lose when you have someone losing with you - I have proved that to myself by having my daughter losing with me.

Dinner: Grilled Chicken & salad w/FF honey mustard dressing

You are doing fantastic! Your food lists are great. I agree with Chris, however- make sure you're getting the vitamins you need- fresh fruits and veggies are great for that.

BTW- I know at the POFQ last Dec. we had a fridge in the room, and stopped on the way to pick up some items like yogurt and cereal. It was a lot cheaper, and I made sure I had what I wanted. I've heard POP is great; we did ASMo once and loved it...we only moved up to a moderate last time because we got such a great deal.
 
So far, it is a beautiful day! I am looking forward to another weight loss! I am hoping to lose one more pound before I weigh-in tomorrow. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! :flower:

So far, I have only had breakfast-
1 cup FF yogurt
1 cup dry cereal
1 bottle of water


It is sooooo hot already! I want to do my Walk Away the Pounds, I will have to do it later because I have so much work to do today!!

My husband just surprised me by changing our ressies at Pop Century to a room at the Wilderness Lodge! That is where I have always wanted to stay, but he said we could not afford it. Our business is starting to do well, so he gave me my wish! I feel like a lot of great things are starting to happen for me and my family-we have been through so much the past few years, it is nice to finally have things go our way. :banana: :wizard:

You really are doing a great job! Good food choices when you eat out. That is a tough one for me. I would rather eat out than eat in. Does not happen all that much any more. Which is nice!

I am so so so happy that I get to stay there! I was excited about Pop Century, though, too! It looks so fun, my husband calls it the Pop Art Museum hotel. He's a nut. We are going to go again next year with the whole family and we will probably stay at Pop.

I have been sticking to my good eating (or at least trying to). I need to eat more veggies. I am getting ready to eat some lunch. I am having a LC Spagetti and Meatballs. It's cooking right now. It smells horrid. I might have to make something else.
 
There are some of the LC that are better than others. I can't do the spaghetti at all.

Congrats on the Wilderness Lodge!! I won't lie and say that I'm not jealous! :guilty: You will have a great trip!! And you'll be smaller, too!!! :flower:
