Dairy Queen's Latest Commercial - They should have used a spell checker

Have you seen the latest commercial. The folks at DQ suggest that perhaps they should make cakes for all occasions. The very last cake is for the occasion of your mother-in-law moving back in with you. The cake looks like a suitcase complete with travel stickers. One sticker is from "NIAGRA FALLS".

Unfortunately, the correct spelling is NIAGARA. A common typo, but you would think that someone would have caught the error before airing the commercial nationally.

I was going to email DQ about the typo, but they don't have email. You have to print out their comment form and send it to them via snail-mail. How 20th century.

Wow; I hate that. I didn't know the correct spelling, but you'd think they'd have someone checking that sort of thing. I went on a similar tirade at work about some "official" hand-outs from an animal shelter that looked like they were written by 8th-graders. Yes, I also had a bad day. No "woe is me" here, though; I'm just glad to not be some of my clients today. I still have my boys to come home to.

I had no idea that Dairy Queens are still around. Most of them around here have closed.
