Dairy queen, what is your favorite

I like the banana split blizzard, but I love the strawberry cheesecake blizzard the best, what do you like when you go to Dairy Queen, the summer is getting close and they are open.

my best memory of DQ is when they opened my son then only 2 , when we road by one he would say QUEEN, oh those were the days

Love the banana split blizzard too! DD7 love chocolate dilly bars. My fav used to be cherry dipped cones, but they stopped doing that here.

OK, now you've done it! I will now have to go to Dairy Queen and get a cheesecake blizzard today. I had been fighting the urge to go, and I actually drove past it the other day, thank goodness it was in the morning, and the place was not open yet!

My favorite DQ is the cookie dough blizzard. But, that may change after I have had the cheesecake blizzard!

Ok, my personal favorite is the Peanut Buster Parfait. Also at work we occassionally get the Peanut Buster Parfait bars as a treat. Last week we needed 48 bars. Bet we made that stores day.

How bad is this? LOL

When my oldest was around 18 months old, we were going somewhere with my DH. DH worked nights, so it was just me and the little guy. Well, Wendy's was my favorite FF place, and alot of times, working 13 hours a day, I would go there for a quick bite with my DS for supper. I just did not realize how often is actually was! LOL

So, we are sitting at a red light, and in front of us was Wendy's. All of a sudden, we hear this little voice from the back seat yell, "SUPPER!"

DH Looked at me, and was like "really?"

OOPS, I toned down the Wendy's trip considerably

Actually my favorite is a small chocolate cone. Our Dairy Queen is seasonal and I just had my first last week. Eveyone else can have the expensive chocolate ice cream. I'll take Dairy Queen.

I love Dairy Queen. When I go to Dairy Queen it takes me a minute to decide. I'm like a little kid. DH just laughs at me and shakes his head when we go. They just opened up for the season by me and we went last weekend. I love the hot fudge sundaes. I also love the oreo blizzard and strawberry/banana shakes. I've been eyeing the strawberry cheesecake blizzard. Now that you all say it's delicious, I'll have to give that a try next.

My fave is also the Peanut Buster Parfait. I craved them when I was pregnant with DS, but I had gestational diabetes so that ruled those out for the most part. My Dad created a mini version of them with a hot fudge sundae with spanish nuts which is a little like it but not so large. I could only have one every few weeks, but it didn't really work for me. When I delivered my DS, my Dad brought me a Peanut Buster Parfait to the hospital and that was the first thing I ate after birth!! I rarely have them now cause they aren't good for me, but taste sooooo good!!!

THe Oreo Blizzard is my favorite that's available now. But, they used to sell a Chocolate-covered cherry blizzard that was to die for. OMG, that thing was good.


I really like the banana split blizzard, too, but the store closest to me no longer sells them.

The German Chocolate Blizzard!

They don't list them on the menu but every DQ I've asked knows how to make them and are happy to mix one up. Lots of chocolate, nuts, and coconunt. MMMmmmmmmm.

I always get a Chocolate/Peanut Butter Malt - extra thick. Yummm. Once, they mistook my order, and gave me a Reese's Peanut Butter Blizzard with chocolate icecream...okay...it was actually quite good, and they let me have both the blizzard and my milkshake. Ai ai ai...needless to say there was plenty leftover after I was finished!!

I like their strawberry sundaes ... but now I keep seeing these commercials for the cheesecake blizzards and they look so good. I really want one but they've probably got more calories than I should be eating right now

I love their frozen cakes for all occasions. I get mine with vanilla ice cream, and mint ice cream, and then the chocolate crunch and hot fudge in the middle........ Yum...Yum... GOOD!
