Hello! We are headed back to the mouse in December, and to my surprise, my dad has agreed to accompany us!! It’s the first time he’s been since I was 4... (32 years ago). We will be there during his birthday and I’d like to surprise him w a treat. Any recommendations of dairy free cakes or goodies that I could treat him to?

Dole whip! You could also call Disney and ask for a customized cake made dairy free (not sure if they can do it, but I've seen pics in an allergy group on Facebook).

Erin McKenna's Bakery in Disney Springs is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free and kosher.

And you are able to get dairy-free milkshakes at Beaches & Cream and the Sci-Fi Dine-In. Beaches & Cream also has an 'adult' root beer float that I believe can be made dairy-free as well.

Walt Disney World Resort does an awesome job when it comes to acommodating Guests with special dietary needs and requests. You'll find that most dining locations offer options for gluten-free diets, and can provide menus with specific dietary information to help Guests make informed choices about their meals.

Cake Delivery is available to Walt Disney World Resort rooms, however, I'm not certain if they have a gluten-free/dairy free option available. I encourage you to call (407) 827-2253 to speak with a Cast Member about your dietary needs, and what options you have for baked treats that can be delivered. Hopefully you'll be able to find the perfect treat for your celebration![/]

You can special order a cake from Erin McKennas that can be delivered to resorts and restaurants at WDW. We did this, however...our cake didn't show up. It was for my 3yo's bday and luckily she didn't notice (we were at Spirit of Aloha). But I know others who have done it and it worked out just fine!
