Several years back we were able to get really delicious dairy-free fried chicken and mashed potatoes at 50s Prime Time, but it had to be requested by calling or emailing two weeks in advance. We have a trip coming up in November. Anybody know if this is still true, and how to contact the restaurant? My daughter is really looking forward to this mal. Thanks!

I know for the gluten free fried chicken they require several hours notice but I'm not sure if that's the same protocol for dairy free. I would contact special diets and ask.

Just wanted to let you know I emailed special diets and got a lightning fast response! They said to email them thirty days in advance with all the specifics, including reservation number and they'd take care of it. Wonderful!

I've had some unfortunate experiences over the years where things promised ahead of time by phone or email weren't communicated to the chefs working the day of the ADR. I'm not saying don't email (I do every trip since we have lots of allergies). I'm just saying you should pop in a couple hours before your ADR to make sure they know of the request. We got the fried chicken over Christmas. I has daid in my allergy for that was forwarded to all the restaurants that we would want a couple orders. When I popped in they hadn't seen it. It was delicious. So was the gluten, milk, egg free in house made brownie sundae with Todutti ice cream and vegan milkshakes and rootbeer float. Awesome meal! Just pop in that day a couple hours early.
