Dairy Farmers Wife IS going to Disney in March/April!

Paige is all about guys anymore. But I think alot of these young guys look too feminine. Must be the hairstyles alot of them are wearing now a days. Of course I grew up in the days when Mullets were the hot thing!

And guys were SUCH tight pants nowadays too! :scared1: Some of them even wear GIRLS pants! It's so strange.

But, I guess that is a sure sign that I'm getting older...I so don't understand today's fashions....!

YES!! Whats up with that. I see some of Paige and Michaels friends trying to walk in these pants and they just look like they are in pain!
I know I'm no longer the fashion guru I used to be. I wear shorts/jeans and a t-shirt or tank every day for the most part anymore. Sometimes I'll check to be sure I match before I go out to the store! LOL :rolleyes1

What I hate is when I get to the store and look down and realize I am still in that old stained "home only" shirt! :rotfl2:

Yes. been there done that! One time we ran for milk and I wore work out spndex shorts (and I don't have the body to really be seen in public with those on) and a tank top, and I saw a girl I had seen in a while. :scared1: I quickly told her NOT to look at me. :rotfl:

That is always when you see someone you haven't seen in YEARS! :lmao: :lmao:

Mullets, skin tight pants, and spandex... is this the 80's or 2010's? I guess we are on a 30 yr cycle now.:confused3

Hope Skip is getting some relief. :)

Its so quiet here. :surfweb: Any updates, cute things your daughter has done????? Random Disney pics???? :cool1:

It's been a really busy week. Skip got an injection Fri., which so far hasn't helped a whole lot, we went to two tractor pulls and Skip also was chopping silage over the past week or so. Our local fair started Friday, which is where one of the pulls was, and we plan to spend part of the day there today (Claire and I) looking at animals, etc. then tomorrow is ride day at the fair for her. (It's discounted on Tuesday for all kids) I did take some random shots over the week, and will probably post some once I get them on the computer. I also want to take pictures of my little stash of goodies I want to take on our trip to give to Claire as daily gifts from the characters.

Yes, that is very important talk! LOL! I'm so glad you agree! :lmao:

So, as I said, the last week and 1/2 have been busy. Skip was busy chopping corn for silage. He was feeling good, and went like a mad dog for several days. We even have to bring him lunch/dinner to the tractor and drinks through out the day so he can keep going.

They had to fill Big Bertha! Which is the big Concrete silo.

They got the chopping done! Also in the evenings, his buddies would all come over to work on his pulling tractor. Skip wasn't sure if he would pull, but they all went at it to get it ready.

Tuesday morning Skip woke up and basically couldn't move. I think all the hard work caught up to his hip. He ended up getting an earlier appointment for Fri. for the injection. Which meant he couldn't drive his tractor. After some talk, he decided to call another fellow puller and asked if he would drive it. This is AMAZING! Skip has never let anyone drive it before, nor said he ever would. But they wanted to get a run in this year and see how the changes they made worked. So the plan was to still go, and have this guy drive it. Skip was nervous, excited..etc.. you name it.

Friday comes around, and 2 of his friends haul the tractor up to the fair, I take Skip to the Dr's, run back and pick Claire up from School, run back pick up Skip, come back for a short nap...and then off to the fair! The Dr. told Skip that this injection wouldn't really take effect for 2 days. And so far he doesn't seem to think it's done much, but he is walking better again in my opinion, for the most part.
The bad thing is...they started to get him ready for the injection and asked how he felt. He said fine, but shouldn't it be done on the other side, since that is where the pain is....and sure enough, the Dr started it on the wrong side, so he had to re start it. Luckly he had only just started, and nothing had yet been injected. :scared1: I tell you, we have no luck with Dr.s
And thats where I will stop, since I have yet to upload any tractor pulling pictures.

Happy Labor Day Jen , Skip & Clarie !!!

Love the farm pictures , the colors are soo pretty !!

Sorry to hear that the injections seem not to be working and that Skip was not able to pull his tractor :( Sending pixiedust: his way , hope he feels better soon !!

When I started reading about how hard Skip was working I wondered if it would catch up with him! Oh no! I'm so sorry! Hopefully he'll be able to take it a little easy and heal with this injection!

Hey girl!!! Just though I stop by and say hi!!! Any new news on the December trip front???

No new updates yet. I have a very wishy washy husband. He can't commit yet. And of course we need to see how the injections work.

Oh yes. He is fampus for overdoing it. I'm sure thats part of the problem.

Love this picture. The lighting is beautiful.

I love that one too.

:cool1: Updates!!! Love the pics! So sorry about Skip's hip still bothering him. Does it take more than on injection to start feeling better or do most people feel better after the 1st? Hopefully it was just the combination of him overdoing it. I am the one famous for overdoing it at my house. We all had colds this week and I was trying to take care of everyone, so I got worse instead of better. Poor hubby had to deal with a sick, emotional pregnant mom! :rotfl: Is Claire still liking school? Keep the updates coming! popcorn::

I'm not sure how the injections work, or even the drug they use. I asked Skip to get this info, but he never seems to ask this kind of stuff.

HI!!! I'm here!! Haha...

I'm glad that he got the injection and GOOD for SKip to mention that it was the OTHER hip! Sigh. You should come to Mississippi and let my doctors check him out!

I also love that picture of Claire in the field- that's so perfect. You totally should blow that up and frame it! OF course, though, she will HATE it:rolleyes1

So... are you thinking Disney will be a go for December??
