We are finally getting the chance to go to the Food and Wine festival this year and are SO excited. However, I am starting to get concerned about DH's dairy allergy. We have done Disney with his allergy before and have never had any issues, but I know the F&W is a whole different thing. We are not planning on doing any demonstrations- just wandering around WS eating and drinking. Anyone do the kiosks with a dairy allergy before? Do they have the allergy books like at the cs restaurants? How limited were the options? We were planning on not making any ADRs for those days but I am concerned that there won't be much for DH to eat. TIA! :)

No dairy allergies, but when asked about other allergens we were told crosscontamination is a big possibility.

I have a dairy allergy along with several others and was able to eat at some of the booths. I don't remember there being a binder but the cms were able to call a chef over to booth to help me. Each chef is responsible for 4-6 booths so they can go over each one that they are in control of to find something safe. All I was able to have was some of the meats without the sauces or sides but I dis eat from 3 different booths last year. There might not be much but your DH should be able to find something to eat, or at least drink.
