I have a question about our daily touring plan. We will be there in 3 weeks and all of sudden I don't feel prepared. I have been reading this board like a maniac! We have been looking at the maps and deciding which rides we want to go on, which rides to go on first, which ones to get Fastpass. Is this it? Or is there something else I should be doing or looking at?

Go to tourguidemike.com. Right now he has his automated vacation planner for $18.95. It is well worth the money. You will find out the best days to go to each park and he also has sample touring plans for each park, they tell you what ride to go on when. I signed up for our Dec. trip, and there is so much info. Everyone that uses it has said they never waited more than 10-15 min for a ride, and that was in peak season, and at crowded times.

I totally agree on the need for a touring plan. You're going during peak season but there are ways of managing the crowds so that you still get the most from your trip. We used tourguidemike.com touring plans on our trip in late June and never waiting more than 20 minutes as long as we stuck to the plan.

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World also has cut-out touring plans in the back.

Absolutely, positively get to the park a bit before opening. That 1st of the morning time is worth so much.
