What's everyone doing today?!

Deb's at the beach getting crabs. :lmao:

I'm going to a crop. A friend of mine is hosting one in her church, I hope it doesn't fall down when I go in :rolleyes1 I don't know if there is WiFi, and I'm not sure if I should bring my cricut or just do titles and stuff afterward. I think I'll bring it. I can always leave it in the car...

I'll miss Holly, but hopefully she'll keep me posted during the day!

I hope everyone has a stupendous Saturday!

Jen Have a great day at the crop.
Hope Holly and Deb are having a great time.

I've been MIA the last few days. Life sort of closed in on me.

trying to get a few weekends away without spending a ton of money.

Have a great day all

Holly, I'm glad you are having a great time with your guys!
Jen, have fun at the crop!!
Nan, be sure to share some photos of the kids with their ribbons!

Last night's scrapbooking group at Michaels was fun. But, there were 4 kids and 6 adult helpers so I was just standing there with nothing to do at first because the adults just took over helping the kids and ignored me and all the cool punches and gadgets and the Cricut. So I started cutting things out on the Cricut and taking them over and showing what they could do with this and that on their pages. They fell in love with the machine and I spent the rest of the night teaching them how to use the machine and helping them cut things out! :yay:

Today is a quiet day. We've played cards and I got beat everytime.:headache: I did come in second (out of 3) once, but they both told me that if you didn't win, then you lost! Guys!!!!:confused3 I think we're going to watch some movies and maybe play some more games this afternoon. A nice family day!!!:woohoo:

Have a great day everyone!

I got 5 pages done at the crop and the place is still standing! It was fun, but would have been more fun with Holly. There's always next month, so Holly put the 28th on the calendar!

I just bet Morgan a dollar she can't talk for an hour, I still have 55 minutes of peace left. I don't think she'll make it, but I won't make her pay me.

Cards sounds like fun. We need to do that once she can talk again ;)

Glad you're having a great time, Holly!! Hope Deb is also having fun at the beach and ZTH and PBF had fun in NYC. And the rest of you had good days at home!

I had a fun day - some scrappy stores in the MA area are doing a Summer Shop Hop kind of thing so some friends and I hit 2 of them today. We were down closer to your neck of the woods (I think?), Jennifer - Bella Art in Rhode Island and Right at Home in North Attleboro. Both really nice! I don't know if I'll hit all the stores on the tour because they're really spread out, but it's a fun excuse to check out new places!

NEE, isn't Bella Art interesting? MomE and I were right by there and N. Attleboro today too. We went up to the Cape to turn over renters at the house.

I ran over to the Hyannis ACM and picked up the four cart bundle that was on sale for $49.99, I didn't have three of the four, my peep didn't have that one, but had the three so that worked out well. Hit a deluge of rain on the way home. Could barely see the road it was coming down so hard.

Holly, hope your keister is feeling better now.
Jennifer, did you win the bet?
Pam, what did you and ZtH do in the city? See a play? Shop?

Is this today? Or tomorrow - I'm h oping today - i get so confused.

Dust for Baby Blythe.

We had a yard sale today. It was going nicely when the sky got dark and suddenly . . .
There was a deluge! That was the only storm cloud in the whole state. I checked the radar and it was about 20 miles across. Well the rain lasted half an hour, but the people were done for the day. So I guess we're going back out there again tomorrow. I really Really REALLY want to sell my tent, so if you could send a speck of dust in that direction, it would be GREATLY appreciated. The old lady just simply can NOT climb up off an air mattress any more.

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Yep, I used to work at Right at Home. It's about 20 minutes from me! I've actually never been to Bella Art, but friends have.

I didn't win the bet, I owe her a dollar.

Z2H and I love Right At Home! Haven't heard of Bella Art, but that sounds like a fun future field trip, too.

We had a ball in NYC - it was super hot, but we weren't outside all that much. Ate at one of Z2Hs fave places, shopped (yep, scrappy shopping at Kate's Paperie! :cloud9:), met up briefly with one of her nice upcoming Disney College Program friends who is working at NBC now, and saw Mary Poppins. It was very, very, very good, but honestly more different than I thought it would be from the movie. Kinda dark and more for adults than kids...although there were bazillions of young kids there. (At $125 per ticket for our seats - ten rows from stage/center orchestra - yoikes!)

We did have a young/10 yo(?) "seat kicker" behind us - sustained 10-15-20 second bursts of kicking/drumming on the back of the seat in front of her (the one next to me) but it shook our entire row of chairs. Since it wasn't just occasional foot repositioning accidents, and it was happening even before the show started, I turned around, smiled, and said "Honey, please don't kick the back of the chair." Her mother actually gave me the Klingon Death Stare... and didn't say a word. But, then the show started, there were NO more kicking incidents and and we enjoyed the show thoroughly!

DD & I loved Mary Poppins!! Wasn't Bert dancing on the walls & ceiling amazing? :)

Way to handle the seat kicker, Pam! Glad you enjoyed your day in the city - someday I want to get to Kate's Paperie.

Bella Art was lovely - more geared to stamping, but a very cute store.

Lisa - I bet we passed on the road somewhere!
