Fill out order form & write check to buy tickets for DS's show and give to DS to take to school
DS up and off to school
Get cj's in box ready to mail
Put up some more Christmas decorations
Take cj's and Christmas cards to PO to mail out
Go to Petsmart for catfood
Work
Dinner - ?? It'll just be me since DH is out of town and DS will be at rehearsal
Scrap
Stay awake waiting for DS to get home from rehearsal

Get kiddos off to school.
Call repair shop, they didn't call me yesterday. Wouldn't it just be awful if someone fished the envelope out of the box and took my minivan? My mind wanders that way.
Look at new SCAL so I have some idea of what I'm doing.

Well, today I need to get a ton done.... however, with that said, I don't know how much I will do.. while today is a very exciting day at our house with PJ getting her license this evening.. it is also a day that has a very dark cloud over it. We just got the phone call none of us wanted. DH is very calm and quiet and that scares me. I need to email his friend at work and ask him to watch out for him today.

On the otherside, our Elves arrived last night, and the kids were/are very excited, especially youngest! He is all into this..and the prospect of him getting to help Santa was the best! I asked him not to discuss it at school because not all families that apply receive the Honor of being Trainer families. He was cool with that! (Plus, we know how this is the age that some of the Magic leaves if we are not careful).

So today what needs to be done

morning routine
older kids up
elem kids on bus
DH to check on Grams/Gramps
empty dishwasher
get box ready from "roof" of items (reindeer food, passports)
write a few entries into Elf books (need to disquise handwriting)
photos of Elves
Start journaling for Elves
research good flower shops for Grams to be sent to house
angels up in hallway today
call Beth about party
clean bathroom
start organizing totes to return to attic
label which totes MUST come back down for decorations to be put back into
pull scarecrows out of flower bed and bag for attic return
balance ckbk
pay bills


there is more on the list, but for the life of me, I can't think of them right now..... Grams just telephoned the house... I had her call DH on his cell phone... she is very cold right now, bitter..

HAPPY DECEMBER!!!

I had the post all written last night, but it wouldn't post I kept getting the message that the post was too short... MY post was too short? today is my last mental health day But I'm planning on doing this again in a month or 2. It was just wonderful!

So, I cleaned the screens on the washer machine...the cold was running S.L.O.W!!! And now there is a leak. Not sure what or where. When it was spinning, it sounded off balance, so would that cause the water to leak

PO3- How was last night for Bubba? This time of year seems to be so bad for asthma! Are you feeling better?

Crazy-busy day here today - and tomorrow will be worse -- sheesh!

Tooth fairy had to remember to visit last night!
Had IEP meeting at DS's school this morning (then lunch out with DH! - our tradition)
Need to get ready for SPED teacher's weekly visit this afternoon
Need a nap! But probably won't get one
Gotta get the house ready for teacher's visit - vacuum downstairs and tidy the kitchen
Didn't walk the dog this a.m. - he hurt his leg yesterday afternoon jumping off the sofa and is still favoring it slightly...but is putting more weight on it now than he did last night.
Dinner - steak and cheese calzone


Started the December Advent/activity calendar this morning: today's message was "kids get to open one Christmas present" - each kid got a fun (different) light-up snowglobe pen. Twenty three more days of this.... - yoikes!
