Chipping away at my "to do" lists before vacation. It's going here before I know it!

I have a super long list today to get things ready for my trip. But, the good part is that I leave first thing tomorrow morning for the cross stitch retreat in Myrtle Beach!!!! It's going to be so much fun.

I really do need a list today.

Today:
DS up and off to school
Laundry
Charge camera batteries
Type DS's birthday list for my Mom (there's no way she can read his handwriting!)
Make replacement Goof Troop t-shirt for one of my friends who needs a new one
Make Goofy buttons for my group
Make Goofy boxes to put the buttons in
Wrap Mom's birthday presents
Pack up decorations for Mom's birthday party
Bake cake for Mom's birthday
Cut strips for everyone to write their name on for Bingo and find a bucket to use.
Adjust poem for Stitched Exchange to accomodate varying numbers of people participating (& print them)
Gather up paper & pencils to use for games
Print off list of games and directions
Get some cardstock and my MS scoreboard to make some boxes for prizes while there
Pack up my beads and tools - we're going to have a jewelry making class!
Kit up some stitching to take to work on
Stitch like mad to finish Mom's birthday present. It's close, but if I don't get it done, I'm going to wrap it up anyway and then take it back from her and finish it while were there!
Make list for DH & DS for while I'm gone
Updated insurances with DH's work since it's open enrollmentGo to credit union, bank, and library
Swing by Michaels and get jacket that I left there yesterday
Pack suitcase
Go to bed early

I'm sure there's more and hopefully I'll remember whatever it is today and not tomorrow while I'm driving to Myrtle Beach!

Morning!

Sore... Hard to believe that these poor muscles used to do ballet and yoga. Where did my body go?

I still have 1/2 of the floor to finish. DH and DUnc were way to staple crazy! And I'm way to OCD to let a new floor be put over all those little staples! Hundreds of them... yes I took pics of the sweeping piles... just hundreds!

Today I have to:

Decide on how to arrange the room. DH wants to change things up, which means new floor plan for me to figure out...

Finish pulling staples

Prep kitchen for painting of the ceiling

Home Depot for little paint samples to try on the walls

Chilli for dinner...maybe...

DIT-looks like you have a crazy day today-have fun on your retreat!!

The usual going on here-laundry, swaps, playing with the kiddos. DS8, DS5, Dneice, and me all have a cold. Happens every year when the weather gets cooler. Gotta get well-we have Disney next month!!

BIL is doing a lot better this week-he came home from the hospital Saturday, and was able to go to church Sunday. He picked DN up and she went with him and spent the day with him & his GF.

So, the staples are FINISHED!! IN THE TRASH!! I told DH he was not allowed to use a staple gun without supervision ever again... Unless he signs a "prestaple"

MM2000- those shirts are awesome! You guys are going to have a blast! Did you make some magnets for your door too? I love having those and changing them every day...so much fun!

Jennifer-those shirts are SO cute!! Gotta get some of that vinyl for my Thanksgiving shirts. Sick of the iron on transfers that don't hold up well.

Thanks Lisa-hopefully we'll all be better in a few days. She did have such a great time with him Sunday. That's the first entire day they've spent together since he's been sick and she loved every minute of it!
