Daily Freq Flyer Service Chrge ???

Anyone know what this charge is for - it's on my quote from National. I looked all over their website, and couldn't find anything on it.

If you belong to an airline frequent flyer program and you want to get credit with your airline for renting a car, the car agency generally charges you a small fee.

If you don't want the rental agency to give your airline freq flyer program any miles, no fee, if you do, fee.

Most rental car companies now charge a daily fee for posting miles to your selected frequent flyer account. In most cases it's something like 50 cents a day up to a maximum of $2.00 or so. It supposedly recoups their costs for giving you miles on your airline account for the car rental. You can always decline this. But for a couple of bucks you can usually get around 500 free miles. Not a bad deal in my book.
