2 Questions.... First I bought tickets for January 20 and was wondering if anybody knew if I could add to magic band before leaving, Or will I have to stop by will call? Second, anyone that went last year I would love to hear your reviews, I have found a few on forum, but would love more info, especially crowd size.

Note that tickets are not added to your magic band, but are added to your MDE and can be accessed via your band. The tickets may be linked to your MDE account before you get to WDW. If you chose the "print at home" delivery option, they should already appear in your account.

Disney After Hours.

Pretty sure the few reviews that are here are all there are. Only a few guests went and I'd say of the few that went only a few were Dis members. We loved it so much we are going again in a couple of weeks (provided it's not cold)

We have no idea how your crowds will be. Last year they sold/comped a very small amount of tickets, announced right before starting and did no PR. Hopefully with the advance notice, some PR (hoping they are marketing this to offsite hotels that sell tickets) etc the crowds will be much bigger than they were in spring. Will still beat any other time in MK but time will tell if they sell enough to keep it going.

I went, I loved it but if I decide to do again, I am not anticipating the same experience [still think it will be great].

I went last year ( April 28 ) and I am going this year

I will be happy to answer any question you have

but the lines where all walk on unless you wanted to sit up front of 7DMT then you may have to wait one train

CM were amazing ( not like they are not always amazing but they were even more amazing this night)

park clears very fast I waited about 5 to 10 minute after the fire works and walked to space then walk right on ( I was in the old FP so I got there about 10 to 15 minutes after) ( I did the desert party too that night)

this year I plane to be closer to the ride I want to go on first

cool, thanks for all your knput guys. i did go through my my mde and found them there. So does that mean i can scan band at gust services to get the tickets to use at the gates?

No need to stop at Guest Relations, unless you would prefer to have a card - you can head right in using your band.

My daughter and I went last May. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had at Disney. I am new to posting on these boards, but we loved it and I was in shock when they announced it for this year. Enough so our Christmas present is going in February and taking my whole family of five. The crowds were pretty non existent. While people were around, on almost every ride other than 7DMT you could stay on and ride again. We waited maybe 5 minutes each for the princesses in Fairytale Hall. My husband doesn't do well in crowds and I am way excited for him to enjoy MK without the walls of people. D9 and I spent the last minutes of it riding Buzz 7 times in a row. Not my favorite (or even close) but she was having the best time ever.

I am a little worried that the hour of 8-11 instead of 10-1 will mean a lot more as far as crowds (not to mention the lower price for those without AP's or DVC). I figure though if the night is even half as much fun as our May experience it will be well worth it.

I am hoping that nobody will know it is going on. I have not seen a lot of advertising and even on the various boards it is barely being mentioned, so crossing my fingers! This was a fairly last minute trip, so I was unable to get the FP+'s that I wanted, so hopefully this will help. My youngest is autistic and he loves riding Buzz time after time and while he usually is pretty good about walking away from a ride, sometimes it is hard and we can't really explain why he can't ride, so hopefully we can pull it off that night ! :flower1:
