DAH and AP Purchase

Hi, everyone:

I'm hoping to attend Disney After Hours during my January trip. I'm also planning to upgrade my tickets to an annual pass after I arrive. Is it possible to purchase the DAH tickets at the passholder rate before I arrive, as long as I have my annual pass in hand before the event? Do I need to purchase them after I get my annual pass in order to secure the passholder discount? If that's the case, are the odds in my favor that DAH tickets will still be available the week of the event?

if you can not get the discounted price you can always go to Gr the day of the event and they will give you the price difference. ( I have done this before)

I purchased an AP that has not been activated and was able to get the AP rate on DAH by calling to purchase the tickets.

Pretty sure you need an AP or voucher linked to your profile to purchase.

OP is planning to upgrade once there so would not have an AP at time of purchase.

To OP, I think you should be able to get the difference refunded to you at the time you upgrade. They do refunds at places like HDDR when a discount card is shown. Also, not sure about the upcoming dates but DAH has not been selling out if you wanted to chance waiting, not fork out that much money.

As @HopperFan said above, the OP is going to upgrade during their vacation. But for others who read this post, you can buy DAH tickets online (at the AP price) with an AP voucher. You don't need to call. (Just FYI for anyone reading this where this might apply).

Thanks, everyone. I appreciate your input. I think I'll buy the DAH tickets at the non-discounted rate and then see guest relations to try to get a refund after I'm on-site and have my annual pass.
