This is probably a really daft question but as I'm now a shareholder it's just dawned on me I may get discount off booking at the Santa Fe but where and how do I go about doing this as I only want room only (no park tickets). Cant seem to find a room only option when looking on Disneyland's website - only hotel WITH park tickets which I don't need :confused3

Another daft question, if I were to book the Santa Fe through Expedia I wouldn't be able to use my shareholder discount would I?

See told you two very stupid questions :rolleyes1

To get room only through Disney you need to phone to ask for a price - letthem know you are a share holder and that you need room only.
Its not always the cheapest option though so still look on expedia as well (no im assuming you wouldnt get share holder discount) and also look at what the price is with tickets as any special offers only apply to packages with tickets not room only
then see which is the cheapest option

Just called the France Shareholders number and they were very very helpful and kindly gave me the number for the UK :thumbsup2

Infact room only worked out £5 cheaper than Expedia :cool1:

I think they must be doing some good shareholder and AP room only deals this year. I have always read that these rates have been more expensive than booking a package but there seem to be a lot of people getting good deals at the moment. :goodvibes

Well we've never been able to stay on-site (in Florida) as just far too much money so have never experienced EMH there and we did originally look into staying on-site for DLP but again couldn't find any good deals then suddenly the Santa Fe popped up costing only £76 more than the Dream Castle and then got it £5 cheaper with the shareholder discount (every little helps).

As we've only got 1 full day and practically 90% of the next we decided it was worth giving up the 4* off-site hotel for the 2* on-site hotel and be able to benefit from the EMH which we don't get from our Sky voucher tickets. And honestly, how long do you really spend in your hotel room? Basically only to wash and sleep :thumbsup2

Have to say I was impressed with how helpful they were on the phone and the price too! Albeit it's just a standard double room.
