THere are so many good ones of her, but that is a good one, huh? It shows her happy-go-lucky personality so well.

I really like that one too. Then again, I really like all of them... Between Minnie, Tigger, Dale, and that one, it's tough to pick. (So I just keep rotating them on my desktops here and at home )

I brought my camera with me to work today, not quite sure why, but probably to take pictures of something. We are bracing a bit for Ida today too, hoping it's not too bad, but just bad enough to give me a day or two off of work .

Of course, if I do get off, and have power and internet, I'd likely be working from home anyway. I knew I should never have installed all that stuff when I was back home, that lets me be connected to the network in the same manner as if I was in the office (VPN for all you network savy people). Oh well, working from home is better than working from the office at least.

Hope the hurricane doesn't get you too bad. I'd love to have a couple days off from work, even if I had to work from home. Like you said, its still better than coming in. You can sit in your jammies and no one knows!

But, if you're power goes out, that will totally stink.

During Hurricane Ivan, our's was out for like four days and I was preg. with my son. No fun at all.

Work is kicking my butt over the past few days. We're going into our Winter Release time and everything is heating up. I have one application that's due to Beta tomorrow and we have our major one with huge changes and additions (with typically more shoddy programming...) due 10-Dec or so. Next few weeks are going to be interesting (and 55-60hrs long). Ah well, more money for my Feb trip at least...

I'm also hungry. I have pasta at home right now, but typically don't eat lunch. I can hear Jimmy John's calling my name today though.

Wednesday was our Epcot day. If you remember, we had a 9:30 ADR at Akershus that we were actually EARLY for!! (The only breakfast of the trip that we weren't late for).

During our wait:

Ok, there are a couple more pictures with me in them. That hat was a fashion statement for sure, but hey, it's Disney! (And it kept the sun off of my face nicely).

I never did see this picture, but it's definitely a cute one. Emily likes to share her food and I believe she was offering Snow White her grapes.

She did seem a little happier with Ariel here, rather than just chomping away at her bacon in my picture ><

After Akershus, we went to see the Fishies... Some shots from The (Living) Seas

And, after that we went to Journey into Imagination with Figment (even though the ride now has very little to do with Imagination )

I'm still hanging around, just haven't had much time while at work to get stuff here done .

One of my applications has gone to beta, but I'm still working on testing some of it too. It was pretty messy, was a small release (I think about 15ish actual changes), but had 2-3 times the normal number of bugs. I guess the developers have been slammed with other projects and they did a lot of reworking the old code that's been there, so it broke quite a bit (you'd be surprised at how things interact on a website, change something over here, and break something over there...)

Should be able to get more pics up tomorrow, I think there's only 1 day left of Beth's pics that haven't been posted anyway.

Other stuff has also been keeping me busy, spent way too much money on Christmas yesterday, but got everything done for Beth and just about everything for me (I'm shopping online for her and she's paying me back).

It's Friday! I have a whole bunch of things to do today... but I don't feel like doing them.

Been a really busy couple of weeks, but at least we're working normal hours (though, I had kinda counted on the OT to pay for Feb... not entirely sure if I'll be able to swing it now, but I'll find a way even if my bank doesn't like me because of it!)

As far as everything else, not a whole lot has gone on this week. I get up, go to work, pretend to work, go home, play on the computer until 1-2am, then do it all again. I have been talking to Beth a lot lately, especially last weekend (roughly 6-8hrs over the weekend). She's doing ok, it's rough for her right now too (between "The Jerk" pulling crap and her former friend's crap that she pulled), but she's pushing through.

And, speaking of that, I mentioned quickly that Christmas shopping was complete. She has issues with crowds and shopping (it makes her real panicky) and, without her own transportation, it would have been real difficult to do it with Emily around anyway. So... I hopped online and helped her out with it and we had all packages sent to her Dad's house. Emily's getting a nice Crayola Art Easel, and some accessories, as well as one of those fancy Leapfrog pens that interact with the book (and some books and accessories). The two big things (and some of the accessories) are from Beth, while I picked up on the tab on the rest of the stuff for them as well as a fleece Tinkerbell hoodie ($15 from Disney Store online) and PJs with Ariel and Minnie on them (2 for $20).

The last item we got was a photobook from our Disney trip for Beth's Dad. It starts off with character pictures of Emily, then goes into solo pictures of Beth, then into silly Emily pictures, then into some more "nice" ones, then into a bunch of pictures of the both of them. I really like the way it turned out. Photobook Preview.

Well, I was going to post more pictures, but writing this novel of a post took too long , so I'll have to do those later.

Allen, you are such a wonderful person. I wish Beth could just realize it and come to Mobile. I love the book. I had just made one for Austin for his senior year. I hope he likes his. I wasn't as smart as you and didn't put in as many pics. I should have added more but it was my first book. I know you must have been busy cause we've missed you on the Dis. Have a great weekend
