I don't have a picture---but hubby took my daughter's cousin it bangs (that I would have styled out of her face) and chopped them off.

He didn't know that once hair dries---it shrinks...so she now has a very bad set of Mia Farrow bangs that are choppy and lopsided.

But on a positive note--he would loan me the scissors so I could fix it. :sad2:

That's what I get for DISing in the morning just before going to co-op.

:rotfl2:

I ruined my DD's bangs once when she was 2. Even though she was just a tot, she hid her face when she saw how bad they were. :rotfl2:

I have forbidden my daughter's dad to cut her hair anymore. He likes to trim her hair when he has her for some reason. It is so frustrating because I am trying to let her hair grow and he keeps cutting it.

In this case, Mommy can't either. I take DD7 to Hair Cuttery and pay them to cut them straight.

After I did this to myself :scared: , my hairdresser taught me how to cut them. She said twist them into one tight twist right in the center of your forehead, then snip off a tiny bit on the end. It actually works!::yes::

No way!! This daddy is the king of bang cutters!!! My wife can't cut a straight line to save her life, where as I...am a natural. :smokin:

My DH would never touch our kids hair unless it was to shave it. I don't touch it either. I would rather pay $5 for a bang trim.

DH got ahold of the hair clippers exactly ONE time....I've since learned to hide them. :sad2: He made my sweet long hair boy of 2 years old look like a Nazi White Supremist in matter of minutes. :sad2:

This all went on when he was SUPPOSED to be giving the boy a bath. That was his only instruction, bathe the child, no mention of a hair cut. Ooooh boy was I mad that day. I can look back on it and laugh, but it was NOT a laughing matter that day! :sad2:

I'm sorry for laughing, JunieJay, but that story is great!

Ahh. I can sympathize. My dad cut my bangs one time in elementary school. They were crooked so he kept cutting trying to even them out until they were way too short and still crooked! :scared: I didn't even want to go to school the next day and my mom was not too happy.

My DH on the other hand is not allowed to use the scissors. He never cut the kids' hair but he did try to remove a furball from behind the dog's ear that resulted in 11 staples. Poor baby never even flinched. I have electric clippers for her now and DH stays away from the scissors.

Good luck. Luckily it will grow back!

"Mia Farrow" bangs - haaaa - adorable!

My dad used to cut my bangs when I was growing up. The pictures were horrible. They weren't even close to being straight.
