I happened to call my dad for something & he brought up that he received a box from Chrysler with a Garmin Nuvi GPS in it. He thought I had contacted Garmin and sent it to him. Why, I have no idea.
I live 2 hrs away, so I can't go over there, but I asked him to please read everything to make sure it wasn't some scam. I have several Garmin products, so I know they are reputable.
He bought a Dodge truck last year, or was it the year before.
Can't imagine why Chrysler or Garmin would be sending him a free GPS.
I know he's been known to click on a link or 2 on the computer thinking something was a legit error message and found out it was someone trying to sell him software to clean up viruses. I really don't think he would have filled out something for a "free" GPS and provided a credit card number for instance. He's smarter than that. And I think we would have remembered that.
Any ideas?
