dad confronts bully on schoolbus

Seriously? Did the cops say they could arrest these people for assault on your if they did start swinging and did they say they could arrest the bully for physical assualt on your child??

the cops wouldnt do anything because the boy was only 8 years old, and in the city where i live in they cant do anything until kids are 12 unless it is something serious..which in our case I thought it was serious. this same boy a week earlier tried drowning a child in a pool over by my sister in laws house.

I want to know how you would feel if those kids in the front row or any kid who was not involved was your child? Your child has just been bullied and threatened by a grown man-he threatened to 'kill' people. He didn't just say they would be prosecuted-he said he would 'kill' them. You're really ok with your child going through this scene???? Seriously???

How do you think the bullied little girl feels? And if my son was sitting in the front seat, I'm pretty sure he would know why the dad snapped and was yelling at the busload. . And if he didn't know why I would tell him.

One day my ds came home and told me the bus driver had been cussing at the kids (and yelling and threatening them), but then he told me why...the 'bad kids' were standing up and goofing around and not listening to the driver. I defended that driver and pointed out his job is to drive and how dangerous it was for him to be distracted by idiots in the back. That guy can cuss all he wants, and thank goodness there is someone willing to take a stand.

ITA! I heard the story on the news this morning and I thought he rocked. Hopefully he scared the poop out of those animals and they will leave his child and others alone! It's not like the school or parents of these kids ever do anything until its too late and the victim is too badly hurt, scarred or dead .

Unfortunately, it sounds like a lot of the kids are laughing. I feel for him, but worry he may have made the situation for his daughter even worse.

Admittedly, I haven't watched any of the video. I do wonder though how much worse he could make it for his daughter. Sounds as though the girl was mortified.

Bullying has gotten a lot of press lately. Maybe for some people it gives them new ideas on what to do? I think bullying has been going on since the dawn of time, it just seems to more acceptable by today's parents. I don't know why.
