He was born with 3 holes in his heart. We have been waiting to see if they would close on their own but they haven't so I have 8 months to decide if I want to go ahead with open heart and close all three or they can close the large whole with a button and leave the 2 small ones open but the 2 small ones leak as much blood as the 1 big one. I really don't want to do the open heart but if I just close 1 whole he could still need open heart later on or he could be just fine.

I wouldn't want to have to make that decision.

A friend of ours just found out at 42 that he has a hole in his heart, doctors found it after he suffered a mild stroke. He has to decide whether or not to try and patch it up going through his groin area or have open heart surgery and have it sewn up. At least he's a grown man who can make his own decisions, having to decide for a child is a whole different story. You're in our prayers.

Thank You everyone for kind thoughts and words. He has always been special since he was in my tummy, I had to make 2hr trips to the specialist everyweek because he was extremely low in fluids and my mom had to drive me because I was so huge I could not fit behind the wheel. When he was born he had jaundice has extreme allergies where if a misqueto bites he it swell so large and leaves a bruise for months at time and has severe exzema but if you were to look at him you would never know. He is the happiest little boy I know and is so extremely caring always trying to please others and loves animals to death but is scared to death of them if they come close. I think one day he will work at AKL or seaworld. I just don't know how my other son is going to handle being away from his other half if I do decide on the open heart. I have to keep him away from everything for a whole 2wks to keep infection away and I know his brother won't be able to handle being away that long but I will have to since he will be going to daycare while I take care of his brother. I wish I could just see into the future to make the right decision for both of them.

To change subjects cause I need some cheering up.

On happpy note only 21 days 'till their Bday....I am so excited. I have gotten every diecast car for them except for the movie moments and chick...but I still have 19 days till their party. I am so addicted to disney that their birthday parties are always disney.. For next year already planning pirates of the carribean and hoping to get lots of stuff on clearance after halloween.
