Getting very concerned at this point. We are praying
that there is a major executive staff meeting on this
DA Buy It Now site.

1) I know there are quite a few of us that are getting
quite annoyed with the same pins being posted over
and over and over and over again.

2) We suggest a MAJOR SPRING SALE!!!!! All the pins
that are left over from this Thursday, have a major
sale on Saturday (hint Easter Sale) and lets start
off brand new on Monday!!!

3) As some of us have posted in the past, JMO, but
there should be a limit on the first day of 5-10 pins
per person of the first date that the pin is released
and then the next day anyone can purchase as many
as they want of the leftovers.

4) If pins of a LE 500 are still showing, example poor,
Cowboy Pooh, how about Mickey on the carousel,
Sitting Minnie and I am sure there are tons and tons
more to mention, but something should be done.

5) Just to upload the OLD PINS from disney auctions past
to try to locate the new ones for that date is in itself
unreal.

6) More pins that are a nice size. If you are going to do
a series it would be really nice for those pins in that
series to be the same size example: PROFILES how
can we purchase Tinker Bell which is a beautiful size
for 10.00 and then go and purchase Stitch which
is so much smaller for 10.00????? Same series??????

7) We think the DA Buy It Now pins should be at a lower
edition size of 750 - 500 - 250 and they should be
approx. 2" or more, the larger pins are just plain
GORGEOUS!!!!

Well, I was just venting and hope you all understand that
we just keep getting the same old stuff over and over
again.

We need a Disney Auction Sale!!!!

What do you think..........

If you do this... you will lower the trading and
collection value of the pins that people paid full
price for... I for one have purchased all the pluto
pins that are still up for auction... if they put them
on sale, my blood would boil! And people who
have traded 2 park rack pins to get them would
want to cry also!!! The only suggestion
I would have to reduce the number of these is
to pull them all and put them in grab bags (and
not let anyone know what they are buying except
quanity) on auction OR put them in groups and use
them as prizes for a trivia game to be played at
PTN's at both parks! Honestly, I don't think that
people would buy most of the designs even if
they WERE on sale. If they wanted them, they'd
already be in their collection!

I am all for limits... there are limits at the park, and
they should limit the BIN PINS also! I'd say 3 since
there are more people out there with computers
than there can be at a park. However, those with
several ebay log on names COULD in essence get
several under each addy. So maybe a ONE, yes ONE
per person (or ebay id) would be better!

too many pins of the same old same old characters
are being posted! unfortunately, they are ALL character
pins, they would really have something going to release
a florida set or california set... like park specific pins that
are not available in the park... they need to get their
marketing dept and their design dept to talk... or just
release TWO pins per day instead of 6-7. like have
1 fab 5 and a classic character released each day
(ie mickey and pinocchio, or malie and minnie)

5) Just to upload the OLD PINS from disney auctions past

yes, when I go to my link to look for REGULAR DA pins
now, it is more difficult to find them!

6) More pins that are a nice size. If you are going to do

that isn't a good arguement.... because then how come
some sliders, big pins and LE's at the park can be 8.50 or less
but some are uglier than sin & small to boot and over 10.50 each...
if we all stopped to realize how much it costs them to
make these pins in CHINA, we'd all think it was a rip off!

the thing with edition sizes are a double edge sword...
look at how fast the fab 5 easter pins have sold out...
even pluto sold out! I was astonished! And I haven't seen
any Malie's or Stitch pins last more than seconds either...
the more popular characters you can have larger editions,
but obviously, unless they are willing to sell them in sets
instead of individually, when they release a series then
they need to limit the number of less popular pins!

All in all, they definitely need to do something!
And I think it is a shame that they aren't dating
their pins! Obviously, because they haven't, I
think they KNEW ahead of time they were getting
themselves in too deep! If Valentine Hook doesn't
sell this year, maybe it would next year to a newer
trader IF and only if it is not dated... but their
inventory is going to skyrocket in between times!

I wish I had my degree finished, I'd cut the crap
and go work for Eisner... I'd also put him in his
place before he fired me too!

Did anyone we know get on the Disneyland Creative
Advisory Panel this year? Last year a local trader here,
Christina, got on it... I hadn't heard yes, no, thanks
again for trying... nothing! I thought this was supposed
to be announced March 31... MAYBE whoever is on
this can help us with PINS too!

:wave2:

I understand your points, especially about them
putting the pins that seem to be hanging on for
so long on sale. Yes, I bought some at regular
price also, but to relist and relist and relist the
same auctions pins is just to much!

No if they would like to show 1 auction for the
Cowboy Pooh and run it a certain time frame
fine. But, putting the same list up 4 to 5 times
is RIDICULOUS........The pins are not going anywhere
if one auction or 4-5 of the same pins over and over
again.

So, yes they would still be up there but in ONE auction......

I think if they do some other characters like maybe
the little little green martians from Toy Story but in
a 2-2 1/2" size pin in a 250 LE that might get somethings
going. Something different, BUT, do not forget what
you are seeing already hanging behind as we speak,
different characters and some odd ideas with the characters
most of us love. I agree, Disney has in the past and present
made some really odd decisions on pins they have put out
and the size they are making them, but specifically I am
talking about this last PROFILE DA Buy It Now Series????

That is fine if that is ebays rule about not being able to
limit so many per person at a auction, BUT doesnt Disney
have control of how many at one time???? Ok, they are
having NO TROUBLE listing so many of the same auction
over and over and over again. SOOOOOOOO what about
on the day that they do list them (the new releases) why
dont they do maybe 15 different auctions of the same
release and do so many thru out the day to give EVERYONE
a chance to get them???? We all know that TINKER BELL,
STITCH and MALEFICENT are gone within seconds.......It's
a given.....So why not add different auctions right up
front and then maybe that will give a little boost to some
of us that do not have that higher than DSL speed.

****Now do not get me wrong, I still stand by my first
point up in the first part of my post here. I just was
thinking on the first day that they could list a bunch of
the new pins in different auctions and THEN whatever is
left put them into ONE auction for us to bid on....

ONCE AGAIN!!!! This is just my opinion, and yes I have
been frustrated in the past with the DA, but here and
there I only like a few pins, BUT, I just watch what has
been going on and listening to the different feedback and
was hoping there could be some brain storming to maybe
help work some kinks out?
