Both DH and I received a similar email but for the Chicago location. It is worded a bit differently though as Mary Poppins is not showing in Chicago any longer. Here is what ours says:

We live nearby and are considering it, not that we are in any position to add points it would be purely a Disney fix. I'm going to call though to ask if it is a formal presentation type thing like they've had in the past or if it is more like an open house format where you can come and go at anytime. That day is DD14's band concert at 3p downtown Chicago so we'd have to go early and leave by 2p.

We purchased from D2D in NY so we get invited to several events throughout the year. We went to the Member Mixer last year. Get there early, the line seems to start when the mall opens. The ornaments are cute, nice to have. They had Dylan's candy store there last year with a chocolate fountain with lots of Yummy treats to dip or not dio, hot beverages, soda and water. I think there were special incentives at the event as well. DH and I are working on the event date this year otherwise we would go. We live up the road and any size of Disney to help with the withdrawls is worth checking out in my book.

So if people are lining up at the door before the mall opens, I am guessing that means that you don't need an appointment to go to the event? How crazy busy does it get?
