D23 Walt Disney Studios Tour security patch

Hello! Back in 2010, I took a D23 tour of the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank. At the end, they gave us a replica of the patch the Security Officers wore at the studios.

I even had Dave sign my card. He was the security officer pictured on the information card that the gift patch was attached to, and he was on duty that day.

Is this patch still given out? I found that they have a new patch with Mickey and the water tower as a gift for tours since 2012. However, I don't know if the Security Badge patch has been retired or is given out in other places or sold.

I have every D23 patch produced (including the two you mention) and they no longer give out patches. D23 stopped making them at the end of 2012, which really upset me because I was a hardcore collector of them!

In fact, you can see me with a picture of the patches in the Cars Land edition of the D23 Magazine.

As far as rarity, your patch isn't worth much right now (maybe $20-$30), but the signature definitely helps make it special (making it maybe $50-$75 at most). I'd hold on to it.
