D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 8/9/24-8/11/24 **Tickets on sale 3/26** **Sold Out on 3/29**

Heh. Ten minute wait queue for a process I have all week to do. And I still waited. Lol.

Doing it now…

On the extra spots, I’d be interested in swaps. It’s just me going solo. Does that mean you basically need to meet at each panel and escort your guests in?

I really do wonder if it would affect my chances of getting a slot. If you put 8 guests and there are only four seats left in a panel, I assume it would skip you? I know that’s probably an edge case though.

Now officially annoyed I can’t do “The Animation Greats” because of the Honda Center. Booo..

You would meet to check in for the panel.

I would love to go to the Charles phoenix thing but it’s at the exact same time as the legends ceremony at Honda center.

Got it. I’ll think about it. Oddly enough I’m not getting the “can’t miss” vibe about any of the panels or signing opps. Weird…
Thats how I feel so far also... but then again in '22 some of the ones I thought sounded meh ended up being really cool. You just never can be sure...

Exactly. DH dragged me to the character voices one in '22, last panel slot on Sunday and my feet were killing me. But I loved it, I ugly cried lol

I think there are several panels that look interesting this year, but of course, a lot of what I'm interesting in is at the same time as other stuff I want to see

I think an edge case for sure. It would have to be that you were the last person being picked and so all other seats are out

Can I arrive at the Honda center late? There is something I really want to do but it ends at 7:15
You can arrive late, but I would guess that the Honda Center event will be over by 9. I would think that you would miss at least the first hour.

While I did get 2 of my picks last Expo, I remember that quite a number of people got none of their selections and several that they had no interest in (I'm looking at you Pixar Ball). I did get in to several panels by going on the Standby line. My best advice is that even if you don't get one of your picks that you really want, come at least 45 minutes early and get on line.

Yeah, I got exactly zero last year. (They gave me the Princess concert as a consolation prize, for some reason.) Managed to do standby and got into everything I really wanted to do. (I'd already decided to skip the big morning event.)

I still wish we could figure out if it's all random or if it's legitimately better to choose fewer things.

Btw - I did 3 guests on mine, so I'm down for spot swapping (assuming they don't stick me with the consolation prize again).

Side note: I was honestly a little surprised that they scheduled so much stuff against Honda Center. I was somehow expecting them to wrap up the Convention Center stuff around 6:50pm and have the Honda Center stuff start at 8pm. Admittedly, there are a lot of guests who aren't going to Honda Center, but it feels like that blocks a huge number of people from the last panels. (Maybe they're hoping that'll encourage people to leave the Convention Center and get over to Honda Center earlier than they otherwise would have.)

They had panels ongoing during hall d23 in prior expos. No different. Even more so with Honda event. Im.surprised they are simulcasting sunday....takes away from those at Honda imho. I'm okay with it since passed on it and only convention center.

I'm confused about the badges they mailed. We bought with Honda Center for Friday and Saturday, and ACC-only for Sunday. Got our Sunday ones in the mail. Do we not get physical badges for Friday and Saturday because of the Honda Center?

Same here. Got our Sunday but Friday and sat with Honda are missing.

Crazy thing is just got the firday and sat tickets of those we transferred that also were honda tickets. So weird.

That's a me three. My shipment came in, and I only got the physical badges for ACC for Sat and Sunday. No Friday badge. Went to my purchase receipt email and looked at the wording:

"Friday Honda Center Presentation + Anaheim Convention Center Experiences & Shopping".

That ACC "experiences and shopping" means that I should be able to get into the ACC expo on Friday, right? I hope?
