D23 Magazine - Spring Edition

Hi DISers,

I picked up the Spring Edition of Disney Twenty-Three Magazine at our town's bookstore (I'm not a D23 member). There are a couple of articles you might be interested in. One is on the new Disney Dream. The other is an article about Disney Imagineer and Friend of the DIS Bob Gurr.

There are lots of other articles you will enjoy. The magazine cover has a photo of Captain Mickey standing in front of the Disney Dream.

I enjoyed seeing the pictures of Bob Gurr and his creations. Especially after having seen him on PCC 2.0, it was fun to read the story in this issue.

I had a 50% off coupon for Barnes & Noble so I used it for the new D23 magazine. It's a gorgeous magazine, but it's so big, making it hard to comfortably sit and actually read it. It's mainly beautiful pictures. I enjoyed the articles, but they seemed so short. I was done reading the whole thing in less than an hour. I can't believe they still sell the magazine in the stores, because I can't believe anyone pays $16 for it. All in all, even at half off, I don't think I'd buy it again and I still really miss Disney magazine.
