What 3 announcements do you want (and think could happen) at d23?

For me

3) paint the night to magic kingdom (can the main street electric parade die already?? Please)

2) Star Wars TV show for adults similar to Daredevil on Netflix in adult tone. Could be a hulu or netflix show instead of abc.

1) marvel at Disneyland in a big way. Rides, land etc.. & Star Wars at Hollywood Studios in a big way!

Some news about Star Wars Area At WDW. But I have a feeling it's going to be five years away.
Some news of what kind of rehab awaits DHS.

Don't flame me, please, but... I haven't seen Star Wars.
I think I've seen the original and maybe the first "prequel" but don't remember either.

I WANT to watch them though.

So while I'm not a SW fan, I'd love to see a huge announcement for HS. But that's because I like rides.
I want a roller coaster, a proper one, one that's more Everest than mine train.
And other actual rides, because that's what I love, regardless of the theme, I'd get into it.

But what is really love is a Pixar themed area, same criteria, give me rides, dark, roller coaster, maybe a couple kiddie or carnival. But load it up with rides. HS needs it.

And lastly... Australia in WS. I know it's not going to happen, but you asked what we WANTED right? ;-)

This definitely. It would make fighting the crowds to the buses more than worth it.

Perhaps a small thing, but I'd like to see the Hatbox Ghost at HM in MK. Rumor is that it's coming. Hopefully, sooner rather than later.

I am excited for any kind of Star Wars expansion at HS. For me (and probably for many of my demographic) its nostalgia pure & simple.

I saw Star Wars in a drive-in with my family when I was 7yrs old. Very cool. I have just enough memories to remember sitting in the backseat of my Dad's baby blue Ford with the vinyl roof. And that the window was rolled down with a food tray and speaker clipped to it. I will always associate Chewie's "sounds" with burgers and root beer. Sigh. I then saw the Empire Strikes Back with my Mom, brother and family friends at a movie theatre. Before the movie, we ate at Burger King & got the Empire Strikes Back highball glasses. Those things were cherished possessions for years.

So when I hear anything about "Star Wars" it immediately pushes my good memories buttons. No doubt, Disney is well aware of this psychology. Star Wars is more than just a hip trend. Its a deeply rooted North American social trigger. Deep stuff that makes us want to spend our money.

So true! and my children 4 and 8 are huge fans and cant wait for the new movie! Our DD plans when we go to WDW are to kiss Flynn Ryder and FIGHT Darth Vader!!lol

I know we're going to see it, but I have 100% no interest in Star Wars. I really hope that whatever they do doesn't take over an entire park.

Paint the Night won't come to Florida in its current form. Despite this, there really is a need for a different nighttime parade at WDW. MSE needs to go back to California.

Future World at Epcot needs a massive rehaul as does most of DHS. Those should be the priorities.

Tomorrowland in Disneyland please do something with it!!!! And either revamp the People Mover or take out the rails. It is just sad.

Lots of rumors Star Wars land will be announced at Disneyland leaking out...they better also announce Hollywood studios or I will explode!

2. Disneyland updates on Innoventions, Captain EO theater, and possibly Star Wars

3. Upgrades to Future World pavilions, especially Imagination

I don't think we will see a third gate for Disneyland for some time yet.

Paint the night is not coming to WDW at least for now. I could see it coming in a few years but they'll want it exclusive to Disneyland and Hong Kong for a bit.

DHS is getting 2.8 billion. Pixar and Star Wars along with a lot of infrastructure work. I would not expec a lot of details on Star Wars because that will open later than the Pixar additions.

We should also find out more about avatar a model is going to be on the show floor.
