Still haven't gotten our disneyland ticket link :( emailed them to see about it though.

I haven't gotten mine either. Guess I to find some time to call next week.

And I just realized that during D23 expo is when I need to book FP+ for my Sept. Disney World trip. I'll be the one sitting in line with my spreadsheet, index cards and phone one morning. Must get Flights of Passage! LOL

They have announced a couple of Marvel panels. Waiting for other divisions to announce theirs.....

@GaSleepingBeautyFan I feel your scheduling pain...I'm waiting for runDisney to decide when the 2018 Anaheim registrations will open, since they are postponed for unknown reasons. I fear that I'll be trying to register for the Neverland 5K and the Tinker Bell 10K at the ACC.

Any Thursday except that one, please! :rotfl:

They seem to be rolling out the smaller panel announcements one discipline at a time. So maybe we'll see Lucasfilm, Imagineering and some other smaller things announced soon. I mean, we've gotten Freeform, Disney TV animation and Marvel over about a ten day stretch. And there's only like 50-ish days until the Expo.

I don't really mind the piece meal announcements about the smaller panels. Doles out the excitement over time.

Didn't people say that last D23 we didn't get any of the schedule until about 2 weeks in advance? At least we're hearing news, even if it takes a while.

I'm very excited to hear about any Parks smaller panels. Wonder if we'll get a Muppets panel this year.

I edited in the new info with Marvel.

I updated the schedule in post #547 in case anyone has been looking at it.

Also discovered the first of (I'm sure to be many) heartbreaks: power of the princess is at the same time as live action.

Yeah ... and I'm left wondering if I'll be able to sneak into Parks and Resorts after the Princess thing is done.

I don't have direct experience, however, everyone in this group and in the d23 Facebook group have said if you go straight to the line after the panel at 10:30 you should make it in.

That has happened in years past, and hopefully it will again this year.

In your case, luckily the princess panel would let out before live action and you'd probably make it for sure.

I was perusing the Things to Know portion of the site and found this. Looks like for the priority seats, gold member guests will be able to bring 1 guest in with them. Of course it doesn't say HOW these priority seats are going to be booked.

  1. Priority seating for presentations in Hall D23 and the D23 Expo Arena. There are a limited number of priority seats available to D23 Gold and Gold Family members in Hall D23 and the D23 Expo Arena during the weekend. These seats will be made available on a first come first serve basis via a separate line. Gold Members will be allowed to bring up to (one) guest into the line with them. Gold Family Members will be allowed to bring up to (three) guests into the line with them. Members will be required to show Valid ID and active D23 Gold Membership Card prior to line access. Once all priority seats have been accounted for in that separate line, D23 Gold and Gold Family members will be advised to join in the general seating line.

Since it's just my wife and I going on a Family Gold Membership, looks like I can "rent" out honorary family status :0)

For the record, history shows that I can be bought with hot dogs

This is what drives me nuts; the fact they say there is a separate gold line directly contradicts what D23 told me over the phone.

To all others planning on attending The Power of the Princess panel, how early on Saturday would you recommend arriving? And is my understanding correct that there just one line for everything (besides Hall D23) if you arrive before the show floor opens, and once you're let in it's a mad dash to get to the queues for individual stores, stages, etc.?

We don't have any information about lines yet.

That seals the deal for me NOT going to live action. I'm going to the princess panel. No question.

That's what I was thinking and then someone told me I'd majorly regret missing Live Action...

I guess I was looking at the Live Action as finding out information I'll hear about an hour later anyway versus the once in a lifetime chance to hear the voices of the princesses!
Is that how you guys view Live Action? I'm struggling cause I don't know what they'll talk about!

In comparison, super excited for the Animation Studios Upcomg Films because they mention specific films I'm interested in and musical performances...
