D23 Expo 2015 - Who's in? Roll call!

Ah, that makes a little more sense! I was trying to come up with something legitimate and coherant in my head. :rotfl:

Yeah, the lines are something else. I'm already starting to work myself up to face the crowds and the masking-tape.

And already booked the Sheraton Park with points. I've heard they did a recent refurb on the rooms. I'm sure it will be nice and the walk is not far. :)

Yeah missing the point, not trying to trade off credentials or anything else nefarious...

Sorry I guess my explanation was not clear...we are both attending the Expo but only one of us will use the Sorcerer Ticket, Me. Husband does not want to wait in any lines and did not enjoy the Sorcerer Package last time because of it being over crowed (the 300 people Ethanwa mentioned) so he will hang out at the Hilton until later in day once I am done fussing around and join me to walk around the Expo...Ive seen many people on another Pin site say they were doing the same thing because of the expense and that couples each want different experiences from the Expo.

I am happy to hear that you think they will keep it lower like in 2011...I hope so!

Ah makes sense! Thanks for letting us know! :)

Help! Still trying to decide on # of days - can anyone tell me what is there exactly? What are the options for a particualr day and is one better than the other if we end up doing only one day?

Typically the big presentations in the Arena are: Disney Animation, Disney Legends Ceremony, Walt Disney Studios, plus in previous years...Disney Park. Usually only 1 or 2 per day.

The smaller venues, Stage 23 and Stage 28, will have several panel discussions each day on various topics throughout the Disney "universe".

Each of the presentations in the Arena, Stage 23 & Stage 28 only happen once, so once the schedule starts being released, you'll have to decide which day works best for you.

Without the schedule, nobody can tell you much. We might be able to tell you what happened the past, but even then - things have changed. For instance: in 2011, the Legends Ceremony was Friday morning in the Arena, followed by the Parks and Resorts presentation in the afternoon. In 2013, there was no Parks and Resorts presentation, they split the studios presentation into two separate days, the Legends ceremony was afternoon on Saturday.

I think you'll have to decide what is important to you, really. And? The full schedule didn't come out until the week before the 2013 Expo....

That is pretty helpful actually! So if I buy a one day ticket do I have to pick the day now?

DD and I will be there. She wasn't sure about attending in 2013 and only did 2 days. Had such a great time is looking forward to attending all days in 2015. Now the wait for the expo schedule to be released.

Excited to be heading to the Expo for the first time next year! But I can't find a hotel room at least not in my first choice locations?!?!? Am I totally out of luck, already?

My husband and I are trying to decide if we are going to go to D23 next year. I also would like to know, are hotel rooms impossible to get already?

There are several new hotels opening near the convention center. I was hoping to stay at the Red Lion, but their prices aren't open yet for August 2015 per their rep I called. With that being said, I was able to get at decent price at the Hyatt Place Anaheim and I'd also look at the new Marriott Springhill opening on the corner of Harbor and Katella.

As a potential first time visitor to the expo, if you get a 3 day ticket, should you expect to be there all day? Or could you also get park tickets and spend time each day at expo and parks? Thinking about trying to go, but coming from east coast and definitely want some park time.
