D23 Expo 2013 – Day 3 Recap

Many many thanks to the Dis Orlando and Dis Anaheim crew for great reporting - I was able to attend Friday and Saturday and absolutely see very accurate reporting. I think the expo logistics were much improved this year-very enjoyable and can't wait for 2015!

Thank you so much for the kind words! Tom, Craig and I enjoyed meeting so many DISers at the D23 Expo. Bringing the Expo to you through Livestream and videos was a highlight for us. Thank you for making us a part of your Expo experience by watching our coverage.

I just finished watching all the recaps, the Richard Sherman and Alan Menken concerts and a few other segments over the past 2 nights.

I want to THANK YOU all so very much for bringing the D23 Expo to my TV!! It has been a joy to watch. I love listening to the stories by the Disney Legends, hearing songs played and sung by their creators and getting a sneak peek into things to come. :thumbsup2
It is unlikely I will ever get to Anaheim for one of these events, but I did have the pleasure of attending the Destination Disney events & Scavenger Hunt that was held in Orlando in 2010. Much smaller scale, but still thrilling.

So kudos to Tom, Michael and Craig for all your hard work and letting us all live vicariously through you!! :cool1::goodvibes

Thank you so much for the kind words! And please keep listening to The DIS Unplugged Podcast: Disneyland Edition as we talk a lot about Disney history and the people who made it.

I just finally finished it all too and loved it! So I am curious- how much does it cost to go the the expo? Is it one ticket for the whole event and then whatever you manage to get yourself into from there (event wise) is included? Or do certain things cost extra? I agree with what Michael's wife said about these living legends not being around in the future, I would love to do ones of these sometime while I can still brush shoulders and hear stories from these folks :goodvibes

The tickets started out at $40 per day or $115 for 3-days (member) and $47 per day or $136 for 3-days (non-member).

It went up a couple times as the event got closer and ended up $50 per day or $145 for 3-days (member) and $57 per day or $166 for 3-days (non-member).

Unless you count the $1500 Sorcerer Package which sold out almost immediately, the only thing that isn't included is the silent auction.
