D23 Charter Members

Hi I have been having nothing but problems with my D23 renewal. I was a charter member and noticed that my new renewal card came and doesn't say anywhere on there that I was a Charter Member, it just says a Member since 2009. Is this common or do any of you other charter members have the new Chip and Dale card and can check to see if yours mentions it? Thanks!

I just renewed a few days ago. I'll let you know what mine says when it comes in if you haven't had any other replies by then.

I renewed mine. It's the same brown mickey card and it says charter member.

My new card has Chip and Dale on it with a blue background. Chip is wearing a I heart Mickey tee shirt while Dale is wearing Mouse Ears. On the back it DOES have charter member since 2009.

I recently received my card. It is the Chip and Dale design and it does say Charter Member on the back?

Did you get all your renewal gifts? I received the watch with my card, but I was also supposed to get the Chip and Dale pin, but it was not in the box.

I joined in October 2009 and then renewed again in August 2010 (they said if I did so by the end of August I'd get the Tink pin so I renewed early). I had heard that this years gift was the watch but figured that I'd just have to wait until later this year to get it when I renewed again. This past Tuesday I recieved a package from D23 and it was the D23 Spring issue, the watch and Chip and Dale luggage tag. No new card or anything but thought it very odd to receive the gift before renewing for 2011 (I do plan to renew but not this early).

I got the new issue with the watch and the luggage tag yesterday. My anniversary date is in May and My second card still says charter member. I'm not sure about the watch and the luggage tag being gifts for renewal, but the packaging did say some stuff about 'welcome to the club...' and details about the membership, etc.

I too am a D23 Charter member and my Chip and Dale member card says charter member. I too only received my card and watch. They ship it differently I guess. I was told in an email though that things would probably ship separately. I renewed the first week of January and got my watch and card on Tuesday. They did also specify that things wouldn';t be sent out until after the promotion until the renew early ended on 1/31.

I also renewed the first week of January.
So far I received the Chip & Dale pins in one shipment (2 of the same pin), and then last week I received the watch (it's a mens' watch- so I gave it to DH) and my new card.
The new card has the Chip & Dale on the front and does say Charter Member on the back, but less conspicuously than the previous 2 years- it's up near the top of the card instead of under my name.
Still haven't gotten the new issue of the magazine.

I had a lot of trouble with my renewal. I am charter and renewed the end of November. I have written the disneystore several times because - I have only received my new card (it does say charter member on the back) and I have never been able to buy any D23 merchandise because my log-in does not match my membership. Interesting with that as it certainly matched when they wanted the money for me to renew the membership.

I have NOT received - the watch, the TRON winter issue, the pin or anything else. I received a polite e-mail back asking for my renewal order #. I didn't get an order number - they charged my card and I got my new card. I find it very frustrating for the amount of money they charge that honestly we have to go through disney shopping to get answers. They are very slow and honestly don't seem to be very knowledgeable about the product.
