D23 2022-Where to stay?

Hello!! I am starting to plan for the D23 Expo next year. It will be my first time going to the expo. I have been to DL twice and have stayed at Paradise Pier and Best Western Park Place Inn. Where is a good place that is halfway between DL and the convention center? What other tips do you have? TIA

We stayed at Hotel Indigo in May and really liked it. It's near the GardenWalk, but not a bad walk at all to Disneyland either.

We've done all three Disney hotels, it's an easy walk...if tiring early in the morning and after a full day.

As for tips, I think the most important thing to remember is that the D23 Expo is constantly evolving - so what happened in 2019 may not be done in 2022. As a result...it's super hard to give tips this early. Add in the pandemic - who knows what they will roll out for the next event...stay tuned!

Candy Cane Inn is where I stayed for the last Expo and was pleased with it and it’s location.

That’s where I stayed for the 2019 expo. I stayed 3 nights and paid just under $500 with a AAA rate that I booked the second the dates opened up before the prices shot up.

We stayed at the Hilton Anaheim. We had to walk around early in the morning to get to in, but it made midday in and out easier. We stayed a few days after and walked to and from the parks. It wasn’t a bad walk for me. We usually walked to the parks in the morning going in past the DL resorts and doing a mobile order to pick up breakfast at Starbucks.

We are still working out if my sister could handle the 2022 expo since she now requires oxygen 24/7. She has multiple batteries for her machine, but still has to conserve battery and energy.
