D Sea U Graduation??

Are they still doing this on the 7 day Western?? They used to hold it the last night.... but I haven't seen it on the most recent Navigators. Any recent cruisers have helpful info??

They do. I believe that they NOW hole it on Thursday, instead of Friday. Perhaps someone can clarify? I think this is much better. Friday with CC, is too much of a rush already.

We just came off the eastern yestereday and they held the graduation thursday afternoon.

Its for any kids who have been to the clubs. Its nice, but VERY VERY packed, we had to use the zoom on the Video to even locate our daughter on the stage.!!!! Nice hat and T shirt, but a lot of fuss for not that much really. IMHO.

Nice touch that Mickey comes ouot, but at 4 my DD couldnt even see him, or us, so didnt like it much.

Tip dont try and collect your kids from the club for at least an hour after ( we packed, and this was really handy) as the club is VERY VERY busy.

Oh... don't forget to send someone into the theater early to snag a good vantage point to take pictures! And if you prefer to "gamble" then try for a seat near one of the asiles as you'll have a 50/50 chance of close greeting your child as they get on stage!

Do your kids do the graduation more than once? There were so many kids on our cruise, that I actually thought that we wouldn't do it when we return. The t-shirt and hat were great and all, but the kids looked kind of bored. Anyone else experience this?

May was our 4th DCL Magic cruise and neither of my kids were interested in doing the Graduation, actually they spent very little time in the clubs this cruise prefering to hang out!
