D Lounge reservations?

Hi! I've searched everywhere and haven't found an answer to my question I'm hopeful some wonderful DISer can help me Is it possible to reserve the D Lounge on the first day prior to the muster drill? I would love to have our DISboard group meet there, but even when I called DCL, they couldn't answer that I know it has been done before, but how can I make the reservation and is DCL still allowing it? A big THANK YOU in advance to anyone who might be able to help

As far as I know, the D Lounge is not 'reservable' unless its a wedding or something, but as long as there are no events happening in there, then its usually empty.

but aren't dining/palo changes in there on the first day until 3:30?

We did just this on the June 8 Western cruise. Someone in the group called DCL and made it happen. Great place to meet - the kids broke off in groups, and the adults all introduced themselves. There was even a sign outside of the D Lounge door that the room was reserved for a private event.

I think the availability depends on which cruise you are doing. On my last 4n cruise I went to DVC member gathering in there at 3 on that day. I think this gathering always takes place in D Lounge on PC day.

But, as long as there's nothing going on, Dlounge is typically empty.
