Well, 4 hours of tossing and turning aren't too bad.

I"m ready to hit the shower- yeah, quite a special occasion, I'm even showering; I guess they do that in the States. And since I have running water at all.

Well, guys! I am signing off!


I need to do another weather update...but I may not have time before I head out.

I am working till 10:30 this morning and then catching a ride to the airport!

My flight is on time and I am so excited! I will be even more excited when I finish the work on my desk.

If I have time a bit later, I will give a hurricane update.

You guys up the East Coast - take care of yourself! Get a tank full of gas and take out some cash from your ATM just in case the storm takes an unexpected turn. It will help you loads when the lights are out for a little while.


I am so excited about this trip! So many details running through my head! So much fun!!!

I had lost track of y'alls threads, but with detemination found them this morning. Y'all have an awesome time and I'll be waiting with everyone else to hear about all the magic, pixie dust and exploits of the troops.

Oh my gosh!

I have to tell you guys something funny that happened a couple of hours ago.




I called Liesa and the conversation went like this:

Me: "So, where are ya?" (you have to just think of my southern accent!)

Liesa: "I am...uh....on the pot..." (she said that last part really softly.)

Me: "You are where?"

Liesa: "I am...well...I am...in the airport......facilities." (or something like that)

Me: To which I said, "You're on the pot?!?"

Liesa and I both cracked up laughing!!

The really funny thing is that one of my "wishes" was that something embarrassing would turn out to be funny...and it already came true.

So now the question how many TIMES something embarrassing will come out true!

Report Update for Liesa!!

I just texted Liesa and Mary to find out if they were there yet and I got a call back from Liesa right away wondering who it was texting her. She didn't have me in her phone yet. And guess what? She had just gotten off ToT!! The crazy nut was already in DHS!! She does me proud.
She landed around 11:15 and was at POP and eating lunch at Everything POP by approx. 12:20! That girl doesn't waste time does she?!?
By 3:15 she's already been on quite a few rides and having a blast! She said she's loving the solo thing and not having to wait on anyone. She wanted me to make sure I did an update so here it is!
