Well I totally screwed #7 up !!Iread the reference to Laurn and no time for make up and thought her !!In no way does she ressemble Tato Head !!!!!

don't worry about it! I think it made a lot of people's day with a great chuckle!!

I was starting to worry it was something I said.

I think it was insanely quiet on the DIS over the weekend. End of summer stuff I guess...???

PS - Lauren thought this was HILARIOUS!!!!!!

I wanted to say that on that day...but figured your answer might throw someone else off the trail.



She said she is certainly fashionable!!! It really was not a bad guess!

Lauren is completely fashionable and totally game for joking around!! I just love that girl!

I was house-sitting last night and got a frantic call from Lisa (Lauren's Mom) that Richard (Lauren's Dad) was having some symptoms of heat exhaustion.

Evidently Richard spent the last two days working in the yard and it has been 100 degrees here with heat indicies toward 110 - the humidity is horrible! He must not have been good with his fluids.

He was having trouble breathing and she had to rush him to the ER. They kept him through most of the night giving him fluids and checking his labs. I have not talked to them this morning - I went over there last night to get the kids in bed and barely got 5 hours sleep myself - so I am tired today! But they were home from the hospital - so I assume he is doing fine now.

Uh oh!!! Hope everything is ok! There's always something going on at that house!

1. Ribs a little better today and first morning I did NOT wake up coughing.



2. It is a slow process. He still ahs trouble with bread and meats, but he is getting there (I guess you could say part of the good news is that he has lost a few pounds and I know the cardio will put him on a diet).

So glad to hear you are getting better- even if it is a VERY slow process. Our family's motto (specifically with our LD son) is: "ANY progress is great progess!"

4. Two -- Me and Liesa. But I'm sure many others will step up and offer to be aunts too. How could you not -- she is just too precious.

I'm sure they would! Who can resist that smile?

Thanks. If you have to know, Tate and I wrote that in the bathroom at around 1:00AM last night. It's the only place we can go to have privacy and have the light on without waking others up.

I've missed about a week and have a whole ton of posts to go back and get caught up on. Just had to tell you I love Tate's post!

Well - that concern has been answered! Baker's boarding school/institution is allowing his FAVORITE nurse to accompany them! They have given her some time off (albeit without pay ) to be able to come. She has known Baker for so many years and taken care of him - he is very comfortable with her.

so I am confident that He will also provide the additional funds for her lodging, food and tickets. Her tickets were already donated today!

I love my Mickey Mail but was completely confuzled as to WHY on earth!! It says AK on there!!!??? Maroo assures me I'm still going to POP? Must be an odd code for that.... reminds me of those code word puzzles I do sometimes.

For some reason I'm thinking Animal Kingdom for Tater pix.

Probably not at WDW- but in Thailand it definitely would have been! One time I touched this guys plumeria lei in his car (also an offerering) and he had a cow. They take their sacrifices pretty seriously. However, since Disney assures us that there are no religious connotations in their parks (whatever), and that they are all "neutered" relics (ie, prayer flags et. al.) then it must be ok. I'll see what I can do.

I can certainly try, HOWEVER, Tate's feet are a bit loose... I 'm really afraid he'd his body would go flinging off and be lost forever! That would be quite a story!!

The foot picture reminds me of my new toe ring I just had specially commissioned for me by a local artist. I got it back yesterday, and want to show you all pix!! It turned out so pretty! And even has a name.
