One week, late February. Hoping for an RSG/Skyauction deal, but in the meantime considering other options.

Cypress Pointe (*not* CPGV) 2BR for $700
Fantasy World 2BR for $500

Is the $200 worth it?

Yes definitely..Fantasy World Villas are not rated nearly as high as Cypress Pointe

Thanks, Diane.

Any other opinions? I've been leaning in that direction---it would cost me $20 to cancel the Cypress Pointe reservation (via hotelkingdom), but that seems like cheap insurance if a Ready Set Go deal doesn't materialize.

Location is great for Cypress Pte. Not sure if you know where they are but its off 535 which is near the WDW entrance by Downtown Disney. I like that side of town too

They have just totally redone all the units at Cypress Pointe which means you will get a nice unit and they are big. The volcano pool is fun and has 2 slides

I just think its a better option then Fantasy World...

Yep. My friends bought a timeshare at FW and even they were not impressed when they went back. (I don't know why they even bought there, but don't get me started  )

From what I have read, it's CP all the way. Plus, location is fantastic!

I've stayed at both. CP is definately newer and more modern. Fantasy World is older and worn but clean. If the extra money didn't make a difference I would be more inclined to stay at CP.

I like that side of town too, which is why I think we're going to try for CP in 2007. I like the whole DD, Crossroads etc. area, and the fact that it is on the N/NE side of WDW and therefore easy to nip up to Universal and Seaworld too.

I'm glad to hear that the units have been redone - hopefully they won't be too worn in a year and a half's time!
