Cypress Pointe to IOA???

It is about a 15 minute drive. You can take Palm Parkway (near Cypress Point) all the way there. The name of the road will change to Turkey Lake but you will still be on one straight road. You will cross over SandLake and then make a right when you see Hollywood Way (think that is the name) there will be signs saying Universal & a high school on the left. I think parking was like $9.00. I am a passholder so mine is free but I do beleive the sign said $9.00..you did mean price for parking at the park right??

Thanks for the input, it is not as far as I thought it was. Yes, I was asking the price for parking. Do you have any info on MG?? Which park is it held at?? :flower3: :sunny:

Parking at the park is $9.00, as for the hotel, its not a Universal hotel, so I dont know. Mardi Gras is at USF (universal studios) on each Saturday starting I believe Feb. 11th...not sure on the date. Its business as usual upto the time for the parade, then all the rides shut down. Huge parade, then a concert. Lots of food beads and fun throughout the day. The concert is included with your paid admission to the park. There has been no official announcements from Universal yet as to the entertainment, but there are rumors of Kid Rock, George Thorogood, Bonnie Rait and Kool and the Gang. What else do you want to know?

thanks so much,I guess if the MG is in USF i might as well do that park on Sat. I can do US all in one day right? This park isn't as big as IOA is it??I hope that Kid Rock will be there for my 14 year old son. How do I found out about more entertainment??thans for your help :flower3:

That day might be busy, so you may not get to do the whole park in one day. Again, this is told over and over again, and you need to listen to this if nothing else. The park opens at 9a.m. Be there at the front gate at 8:15. You will get most of the park done before 12, and before the lines if you do it this way. As far as entertainment, nothing is official yet. The official lineup should be announced sometime within the next few weeks. I'm guessing by the end of this week, as football season is winding down. The groups I mentioned before are merely rumors as listed by pollstar.com. Nothing is official until Universal announces it. USF is just as big as IOA, but you'll have to decide which park and which attractions you'll want to do first. Seeing that MG will be on that day, both parks will be jammed, more than likely...hope this helps.
