Cypress Pointe Resort or Grand Villas??? which one is better as the cost difference is on 10 bucks a night. It's just me and the wife we dont need a lot of space but want to be in decent hotel. but instead of one bedroom as we want a queen or king bed we may get the Two Bedroom Villa boasts one King size bed, Jacuzzi Tub, just so we can have king bed and jacuzzi tub.

please give feedback on the hotels or if you know of hotel that offers similar rooms for comparable price under 110 a night?

Also do shuttles run from these hotels to WDW, Universal? also what about discovery cove?

Thanks in advance.

There are a lot of reviews of these properties on the boards. The one has just been remodeled and the other is newer. Overall they are both great to stay at. I, myself, have not stayed here, but it is definelty on my list of potential places to check out. You may want to do a search for them on this forum.

Also, be sure to check the rates on www.hotelkingdom.com they are known to sometimes have a great rate. Usually better than when you book direct. They also usually have some great rates on other suites/condo's as well.

As for other properties-- you could probably get a rate in the $59-99 range by renting condo/townhouse direct. Something to possibly just check out for the heck of it. I'd check www.vrbo.com .

Also, SkyAuction is known for having some great deals. However, I did read they are slim pickings for the next few months- so that may make a difference.

I have stayed at a studio and also a 2 bedroom in Phase I (Cypress Pointe). I really like the surround sound in the remodeled Phase I 2 bedroom, but if I were doing it again I would stay in the 1 bedroom at Phase II for just myself and DH. The studio in Phase I is like a hotel room, no table and chairs. It does have a fridge, micro, toaster, and coffee maker.

HTH

issue is me and wife cant stand a full size ed which is what comes with 1 bedroom villa, the studio comes with king and so does two bedroom..... hmmm

any other input people?

I have an option to rent points from someone. I am going Easter week, 2007 and he is offering me 7 nites, 8 days for $700. Is this the going rate?

going rate to which one and is it one bedroom or two?

Also what about parking is it free at both resorts?

We rented from hotelkingdom.com and yes the parking is free.
