Cypress Pointe---I'm so excited!

I just won a Ready, Set, Go auction on Skyauction for $254, and reserved a 2 bedroom villa at Cypress Pointe Grand Villas for December 3-10, 2005! I'm so thrilled! Lots of room for less than a hotel room would cost---just had to share!

What a great deal. We just returned from CPGV 2 bedroom and had a great time with all the space, kids in their own room, jacuzzi tub, 2 TVs. Pool didn't compare to SAB though!
I got it for about $100 a night and thought that was a very good value. We also cooked some meals and froze water to bring to the park. It was so hot we saved about $40.00 a day just from not having to buy water for 4 people.

That's exactly when we will be there, LauraR!!! We also won thru SA (but it was a long time ago........supposed to use it last year, but H. Frances happened so they let us switch our week to this year).

My friends stayed there last year and had a great time. I can't wait!


We will be at Vistana the week before this (also thru SA). What would I do if I didn't have Sky Auction!!

Wow, awesome rate for CPGV, LauraR! Can't beat some of those SkyAuction deals. We stayed in CP (not GV though) in April and really liked it. Very convenient to the parks, very roomy and comfortable. Nice to have the kitchen as we cooked a few meals there. Also, we love the first part of Dec. as the crowds are usually smaller and the weather is cooler...but be prepared for any weather! It can go from hot to cold and back again at that time of year, so you have to be ready for anything! Have a wonderful trip!!

Thanks everyone---now I'm even MORE excited! Hope we run into your family Pamela. I have two boys (8 and 10) and we'll probably be spending a fair amount of time poolside (unless the water ices over). Thanks for the tip on the weather, Local Girl, I'll definitely bring jackets and gloves. Can't wait!!

We'll be there at that time too -- from 11/25 through 12/9. Maybe we'll see all of you there too because we plan on spending some time at the pool! We have three DDs, 9, 7 and 4.

that is a great rate. and i thought paying $89 a night for our 3 bedroom unit was a great price. we will be at CP in only 25 days and counting.........
