We arrived at CPGV at around 12-1 pm and a room was ready. We wound up with room Porpoise Cay 15A. It was a 1st floor room right near the pool.

Suprisingly, we heard no pool noise during our whole stay.

Pictures do not give the villa justice because it was much nicer than the pictures showed. We had a large closet off the kitchen which was helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with many utensils.

The only difference between the CPGV and CP (we stayed at CP in 2005) was the living room area and a slight difference with bathroom in the master suite. The TV setup was slightly different than the CP units.

There were some construction in the Porpoise Cay buidling but it did not disrupt us. These were painting in the stairwell and one day there was a mattress delivery on the 3rd floor.

We were very happy with CPGV and would stay again in either one of the Cypress Pointe phases.

Glad to see someone else on the boards who stayed there and liked it.

We stayed the first week of June. We had a great experience. My aunt got us one of her get away weeks through her time share for a great price. We split a two bedroom with another family. We were very impressed. We did rent the modem to have internet access. I had called the day before to request a first floor facing the pool which we got.

I too would recommend this resort. We will try to go back here for our next trip.

WE just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Cyrpress Pointe! We stayed at the grand villas back in june.this was our second time there! I would stay here anytime we go back to Disney. it is so close to everything!!! and for the price (exchange fee from Interval) , you cant beat it!!

Ditto here. We stayed at CPGV last December after getting a too-good-to-be-true deal on eBay. So we were prepared for quite a bit less, and were ecstatic with the quality of the 2BR. The screened-in balcony was a nice touch. And to top it off, there's a Dunkin Donuts on the way to WDW, something we miss out here in CA. ;)

I felt the same way about the price. The price my aunt got us was less than what another friend paid. She was there the same week as the rest of us. She only spent 4 nights at Pop Century. She said she just couldn't afford a week. We got 7 nights for less than her. We had 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, screen patio, and all the amenities on property. It really seemed too good to be true.

I knew it would be great when the other mom and I went to check in ... we were offered the warm cookies and cold water bottles.

Glad to see others have found this great and close place :goodvibes

DH and I stayed in a 1 br villa before our DVC stay in July. We have been in both Cypress Pointe and Cypress Point Grandvillas and really like the resort. I have especially fond memories of watching "Lord of the Rings" in surround sound at Cypress Pointe (2 br)

We also just returned from Cypress Pointe Grand Villas - stayed in a two bedroom unit from August 18th to the 25th and LOVED IT. We were in Crab Cay and could see Wishes from our balcony. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything you needed. A very short drive to Winn Dixie to stock up and we were in heaven! The whirlpool tub in the master suite was used every day by me - first thing in the AM and last thing at night. Hubby loved the big screen TV in the living room and 17 yo daughter had a room to herself so she could play her music, read or talk on the phone in private. The pool was never crowded and the hot tub was large and we used it every day.
