:D Yet another CP question: Is there anything for kids to do besides swim?

According to Hotelkingdom.com's site, CP has 3 pools a gameroom and scheduled kids activities.:confused3 In reading all the posts I've only seen 2 pools mentioned and nothing about a gameroom or activities.

Anyone know?

Together, Cypress Pointe and CPGV have three pools. There are also 2 tennis courts, 2 basketball half courts, and sand volleyball. There is also a mini golf area (there was a fee for that, I don't remember how much.) On the second floor of the clubhouse was a fitness room. I didn't notice a game room or children's activities, but then I wasn't looking for them either.

Thanks guys!

Lewisc, I've been to that site,(they don't call me research hog for nothin!) but thank you anyway. :D :goodvibes

Just wanted to give you a personal THANKS for all the information you've provided on CP. The pics were great and I appreciate all your priceless information!

The mini golf was 20.00 per family for the entire stay. Many people brought their own putters/balls and played for no fee.

There is a small game room in the clubhouse. I saw some activities posted that invoved basketball and volleyball games. We were there last week and my 8 year old neice never got tired of the volcano pool. We were at Cypress Pointe, not the Grandvillas. Never even looked at the pools in the Grandvillas section. The volcano pool is very nice and your kids will love it!!

Thanks dawgsgirl but we're not staying there anymore. Long story involving breakfast and bathrooms. We will however stay there in the future for sure!

When we were there last July we spent two days at the pool hanging out. They had all sorts of activities for the kids -- hair braiding, hula hoop contests, limbo contests. They even had an adult hula hoop contest, which I won. :p Suprisingly, since its been a loooooooooooong time since I had used a hula hoop, but I think it had been even loooooooonger for my competitors. :p

Oh, also they had a free cookout one day - hamburgers, hotdogs, and several different type of salads, and sodas. DH kept looking for someone to pay and they kept insisting it was free.

We had such a nice time at CPGV and would return there in an instant. This year we are staying at Orange Lake Country Club -- sure hope it turns out to be as fun for us as CP was.
