Cymbalta: Anyone Here Used/Tried It?

Just curious. My doc prescribed it to me for depression/anxiety. He said that in his 20 years of practice he has NEVER had such success with little or no side effects.

I am the queen of side effects. Would be interested in hearing others' experiences although it is very new so there probably aren't going to be too many responses.

Both my parents are on this with no side effects - my dad takes a super high dose of it for chronic pain, believe it or not. So, I thought I would try it since I can't take Paxil or Zoloft. Well, I threw up all night long and was so sick the next day I had to stay home from work. How disappointing!

A very good friend of mine took it for her fibromyalgia. Initially, it helped a lot and she was singing it's praises. After about six weeks she started to have side effects and went off of it. She had a lot of restless leg syndrome at night, uncontrollable bladder first thing in the morning, and... I can't remember what else. I'm going to see her today, so I will ask her and post again later. Another friend of mine is on it for her fibromyalgia (for 2 months) and has no side effects and it helps her better than anything else that she has tried. Good luck.

Oh, shoot. I am waiting until Friday to take mine so that I will be home Saturday to ride out any adverse effects. I really HATE taking this stuff. I have tried them all.
