I got some outfits and other accessories at American Girl. They did not have any furniture or big items though.

I just got what I think is a good deal at Land's End. They have a code on their front page for 30% off (but not special items) plus free shipping.

I was able to get $90 worth of gifts for $55 with free shipping.

I know a lot of Sears stores have Land's End sections but I hate the Sears closest to me as they don't have a men's section. I needed to buy for my dad. This way, if he doesn't like the items or the colors, he can return them to Sears near him. Win-win!

The favorite thing I got was the men's down vest for $25. They still have it in many colors.

The only thing I ordered was from Eddie Bauer. I ordered a medium and large travel hanging kit bag for toiletries and things. We had one years ago and love it. I also ordered the sweater stone based on the great reviews.

Dick's Sporting Goods has 25% off a single item and free shipping.

I got an email about that sale, but there must have been more than a hundred exclusions. I didn't even bother reading them all. Just moved on.

Very disappointed with Target.com. I spent over an hour on the phone with a guy in India trying to get the shipping charges removed. He said that they were updating their computer system.

In the meantime while we're on the phone, someone put the order through. I think it was him but he denied he did anything to the order. He told me to cancel the order and reorder. He assured me that it was a system update. I placed the order again and of course the shipping charges were still being charged. I called back again and this time another guy in India put the oder through and told me I have to wait 1/2 hour to call back so that they could do an adjustment to credit back the shipping charges. So, now I'm on hold for over 20 minutes waiting to get the $40 credit issued.

If they weren't the specific dishes that DD wants, I would have just said forget it.

I ordered the bookbag from vera bradley. I think it was a good deal. Nothing else seemed worth it.
